Ben Affleck’s Daughter Is “Huge” Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Fan

Jen Affleck thinks Ben Affleck’s daughter is simply sweet.

I was so excited to see Mercedes and Ben Affleck working together on that Dunkin’ Donuts ad! I recently read that Mercedes really connected with one of Ben’s children during filming, which is just lovely to hear. It sounds like they genuinely hit it off!

Jen, who portrayed “value Affleck” in the advertisement, described the experience as very fun and lighthearted. “We just laughed a lot while filming it,” she shared on the September 16th *Not Skinny But Not Fat* podcast.

Although Jennifer Lopez joked she was the less well-known Affleck in the commercial, she revealed that one of Ben’s children – Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13, whom he shares with Jennifer Garner – was very impressed with her.

Ben’s daughter arrived with a friend-a big fan, according to Jen, who didn’t mention her name. The daughter insisted they were family, even if not by blood, and Jen was thrilled.

The 26-year-old, who has three children – Nora, 3, Lucas, 2, and Penelope, 3 months – with her husband, Zac Affleck, said that even Zac was being exceptionally kind.

You know, I was chatting with Ben recently, and he expressed his gratitude for something I’d done. It honestly caught me off guard! I found myself responding, ‘Wait, *you’re* thanking *me*?’ It was a sweet moment, and I ended up turning it back on him, saying, ‘Thank *you*!’ It’s always nice when a simple act of kindness comes full circle, isn’t it?

Jen also explained why she used to firmly believe she was related to Ben, adding that her husband felt the same way.

She explained that their grandfather had actually told them all this story – it wasn’t just a made-up tale. Everyone in the family believed it was true.

Jen observed that many critics accused her of being dishonest about whether she actually believed the rumor, and they described her actions as manipulative and insincere.

You know, she explained it perfectly. It’s not that she *tries* to mess things up, it’s that I often act without thinking, and that’s what always lands me in these wild situations. I really need to be more careful!

Although a rumor started the buzz about Jen working with Dunkin’, she had previously told *Us Weekly* that she was surprised to learn it wasn’t actually happening.

Whether they were related or not, Jen eventually did meet Ben Affleck, the star of *Gone Girl*. Back in 2024, while she still thought the rumor about their connection was true, she shared on *Sister Wives* that she hoped they’d have a chance to meet “sometime soon.”
