Ben Stiller & Christine Taylor Step Out for a Date Night at Emmys 2025

Ben Stiller is pulling out his blue steel tonight.

Ben Stiller and his wife, Christine Taylor, were excited to attend the 2025 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on September 14th, and were planning to look their best.

Ben, nominated for directing the drama series *Severance*, wore a classic black suit to the event at the Peacock Theater. His wife, known for *Wedding Singer*, stunned in a black off-the-shoulder gown, paired with delicate jewelry and a clutch. She completed her look with glowing, smoky makeup and a classic blown-out hairstyle. They share two children: Ella Stiller, 23, and Quinlin Stiller, 20. (Check out more red carpet arrivals here.)

The couple had a night to remember, as Ben’s show, *Severance*, led the 77th annual awards ceremony with an impressive 27 nominations.

After being separated from his wife, Christine, for more than three years and then getting back together, having her with him again feels incredibly wonderful.

As a lifestyle expert, I often talk about the power of reconnection, and I was really touched by Ben’s recent comments to *The New York Times*. He shared how grateful he is that he and his partner were able to rebuild their relationship after a separation. He put it beautifully – he believes it’s rare for couples to find their way back to each other, and when they do, there’s an incredible level of appreciation for what they have, because they’ve faced the possibility of losing it. It’s a powerful reminder to cherish your connections and work through challenges when possible.

Despite separating after 17 years of marriage in 2017, Ben Stiller didn’t believe his divorce from Christine Taylor was permanent. Surprisingly, being forced to live together again during the Covid-19 pandemic actually rekindled their connection.

He described their separation as a period of needing space to figure things out – to understand what their relationship meant, what his life was like without it, and how much he valued their family. Though they were apart for around three or four years, they remained connected, and he never lost hope for a future together.
