I can really feel the change in the air – the nights are getting darker, and Christmas is almost here! Now we’re just waiting for the shops to launch their Christmas displays and get us all in the festive spirit.
The holidays are a hugely profitable time for stores, as many people shop for gifts. It’s crucial for retailers to ensure they’re top-of-mind when customers are getting ready for Christmas.
Last year’s advertising was really diverse, with everything from charming campaigns like Barbour’s featuring Shaun the Sheep, to captivating and mysterious ads like the two-part series from Waitrose.
The John Lewis Christmas ad is always a popular topic of conversation, and this year it’s arrived earlier than usual.
Needless to say, it’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas.
Save this page and check back often! We’ll be adding the most popular Christmas ads from around the UK as they are released for 2025.

I saw John Lewis released their Christmas ad really early this year! It’s a really touching story about a dad and his son, and it’s definitely pulling at my heartstrings.
A son gets his dad a gift, and though he’s worried about how it will be received, it’s a huge hit. The vinyl record reminds his dad of his fun-filled days going clubbing in his youth.
It turns out that you don’t need to have the words, so long as you can provide a thoughtful gift!
The advertisement features two versions of the song “Where Love Lives”: the original by Alison Limerick and a version by Labrinth.
