The Marksman class is a top contender in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, particularly when built around its strongest Talents.
This build lets you deal a lot of damage, and it’s surprisingly easy to set up – perfect for new players! You can even win most fights by letting your team attack automatically.
Does that sound like it fits your wants? Well, read on for this strong Marskman build!

Skills
First of all, let’s talk about the Skills you’ll be using with this Marskman build.
Honestly, as a player, I’m really happy to hear that we’ll mostly be focusing on just four Skills! And even better, we won’t need to max out *everything* – that makes building this character so much easier and saves a ton of resources. It’s a big relief!
Here’s a list of the skills you’ll need to move forward, ranked from most to least important:
- Bullseye – This is just your basic attack. However, Leveling and Advancing it increases the damage your Wolf summon will do with the Wolfpack spec we’ll be using. So, max it out!
- Wildcall – Gives you an extra Wolf summon, as well as a bird or bear for extra damage randomly.
- Focus – Enter Focus to lower Skill Cooldowns and increase your Haste.
- Arrow Rain – Don’t Advance this. You’ll mainly use it to get Photon and Lumi Torrent stacks.
- Torrent Volley – Don’t Advance this. Use it during Photon Reforge state to extend its duration. Also, use its upgraded Lumi Torrent variant while in Photon Reforge to get 120 Photon.
- Luminary Bolt – This is your ultimate Skill, essentially. We recommend not Advancing it. It’s good for utility, but you’re better off ignoring it to keep your DPS up.
In addition to the skills already mentioned, we want to highlight Deter Shot! This ability makes you and up to 10 nearby allies temporarily invulnerable for 5 seconds. While it’s not crucial for most of the game, it’s absolutely essential for tackling the more challenging endgame content.
Key Attributes
As you progress through the game, your main focus for Attributes should be Mastery followed by Haste.
You should also aim to increase your Attack Speed until you reach 46%. This is the ideal speed for this particular build, and going beyond that point won’t improve your Torrent Volley and Lumi Torrent – it will actually make them less effective.
Generally, it’s best to avoid increasing your cast speed, particularly with modules. They can disrupt the timing of your abilities and make your combat rotation less effective.
As you progress to the final stages of the game, prioritize increasing your Mastery and then Versatility. These stats will provide the biggest improvements to your damage output. You can safely disregard stats like Critical Strike, Luck, and Haste at that point.
To start, prioritize gaining Mastery and Haste until your attack speed reaches 46%. After that, focus solely on increasing Mastery and Versatility – it’s really that straightforward!
Imagines
This setup is easy to achieve and doesn’t require spending any money! For your Battle Imagines, we recommend using the Muku Scout and Brigand Scout.
Focus on getting the Muku Scout first. After you’ve obtained one copy of both the Muku Scout and the Brigand Scout, dedicate all your efforts to upgrading your Muku Scout to Tier 5.
The Muku Scout increases your attack power each time you successfully hit an enemy. Because this build focuses on frequent attacks, the boost adds up quickly, making it a great fit for a fast-paced, aggressive playstyle.
The Brigand Scout is much more straightforward. It passively boosts your Agility, and using its special skill gives you an even bigger boost. It’s not a huge effect, but it’s definitely useful.
Eventually, you’ll want to swap out the Brigand Scout for the Muku Chief. This will boost your Critical Damage, and using Wildcall with this setup guarantees you’ll land Critical Hits. It’s a great upgrade to make!
Improving your Muku Chief to Tier 5 will significantly boost your damage. It will take some effort, but it’s achievable even if you don’t spend any money on the game.
Talents and Spec
When building your Talents, simply fill out the first 30 nodes of the main Marksman Talent Tree. You need all 30 to select your specialization, so don’t overthink it!
Just a heads-up, unlocking talents takes some time! A lot of how you earn the points needed is tied to how long you play, so don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t happen instantly. You’ve gotta be patient and keep at it!
After unlocking the Spec, we recommend choosing the Wolfpack. It’s a powerful and straightforward option, making it ideal for this build.

This build is designed to maximize the damage your Wolf deals and improve the effectiveness of the skills you’ve already selected.
This update focuses on reducing skill cooldown times and making the Marskman’s Photon Reforge even more powerful.
Okay, so the Lumi Torrent is going to be *huge* for how I play! Basically, if I stay in Photon Reforge for over 30 seconds, my Torrent Volley gets a serious power-up. It’s like a stronger version just unlocks, which is awesome!
In the end, this setup will let you quickly deal a lot of damage without much effort! Now, let’s move on to how to use this build effectively…
Rotation
Finally, let’s talk about skill rotation. Honestly, it’s the simplest part of this build, but it can also be the most repetitive.
This build is surprisingly effective even if you simply use the Auto function. By setting all your skills to Auto, you’ll achieve almost the best possible damage output without needing to put in a lot of effort.
For maximum effectiveness, you can use a slightly customized automatic rotation. Keep all your skills on auto-use except for Torrent Volley and Arrow Rain, which you should control manually.
When your Marskman’s Photon ability isn’t fully charged, manually use Arrow Rain instead. This ensures you’re always making the most of your abilities.
When your Photon level drops below 70, use Torrent Volley (or its improved version, Lumi Torrent). This will help you keep Photon Reforge active as much as possible. Keep repeating this process to achieve victory!
That covers everything you need to get started with this strong and easy-to-use Marksman build in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance!
Interested in another option? We also have a guide for the Stormblade class. It’s a close-combat class that demands more precise control of your abilities. If you’re not enjoying this Marksman build, the Stormblade’s playstyle might be a better fit for you.
