Beth and Rip are up to their old tricks in a new place.
Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser are returning as Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler in a new Yellowstone spinoff called Dutton Ranch. Set in South Texas, the first two episodes will premiere on Paramount+ on Friday, May 15, 2026. The show will also air on the Paramount Network. Following the debut, new episodes will be released weekly, with a total of nine episodes in the first season.
The new trailer from Paramount shows Beth and Rip facing tough challenges as they try to build a life together. It’s full of action – gunfights, brawls, and explosions – and includes disturbing scenes like someone dragging a body and an arm sticking out of a shallow grave. These clips suggest the new Dutton Ranch series will be significantly grittier and more intense than other shows in the Yellowstone universe.
New photos from Paramount offer a closer look at Beth and Rip, showcasing both their individual struggles and tender moments together, much like the recent trailer. The images highlight the complexities of their relationship as they face constant danger and work to build a future for their family, including raising their son.

I’m really excited about the cast they’ve assembled for this new series! Along with Liam Reilly and Hauser, they’ve got Ed Harris and Annette Bening – both Oscar nominees, which immediately tells you they’re bringing serious acting chops. Plus, the supporting cast is packed with talent – Finn Little, Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, and Natalie Alyn Lind. Honestly, with this group, I’m expecting more than just action; I think we’re going to get a really compelling, character-focused drama with some truly amazing performances.
Dutton Ranch is a production of Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios. The first season has nine episodes and was developed by Chad Feehan, who also served as showrunner and executive producer. The series features characters created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson, the team behind Yellowstone. David C. Glasser, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Alexandra Voros, Michael Friedman, Cole Hauser, Kelly Reilly, and Keith Cox all served as additional executive producers. Christina Voros directed several episodes, including the season finale, alongside Greg Yaitanes, Jessica Lowrey, and Phil Abraham.
The world of Yellowstone is a sprawling Western saga created by Taylor Sheridan. It centers on the Dutton family and their fight to hold onto their Montana ranch over several generations. It started with the original Yellowstone series (2018–2024) and has grown to include earlier stories like 1883 and 1923, as well as spin-offs such as 6666 and The Madison, all of which delve deeper into this shared universe.
The new series, Dutton Ranch, will launch on Paramount+ with its first two episodes on May 15, 2026. Following the debut, new episodes will be available every Friday on both Paramount+ and the Paramount Network, airing at 8 PM Eastern and 5 PM Pacific time.
