Bewitched’s Erin Murphy Claps Back on Facelift Speculation

Erin Murphy is turning her nose up at plastic surgery rumors.

The former star of Bewitched addressed rumors that she’d had plastic surgery, assuring fans that her youthful look is entirely natural.

On October 20th, Erin shared a selfie on Instagram and addressed rumors about plastic surgery. She wrote, “This is me at 61 – no makeup, no procedures.” She clarified that she hadn’t had a facelift, despite what some people online were suggesting.

Erin Murphy, who played Tabitha on the show Bewitched from 1966 to 1972 with Elizabeth Montgomery, considered that being told she looks good for her age could be a subtle insult. However, she personally doesn’t see it that way, and instead sees her life story reflected in her face.

She explained she has a scar on her forehead from hitting the pavement a few years ago while walking a dog. She also mentioned a scar under her chin from a childhood fall onto the kitchen floor.

I love looking in the mirror and seeing the little lines around my eyes – they’re proof I laugh a lot more than I cry! And I’m always happy to have a bit of a tan and a few freckles, because it means I’ve been enjoying the sunshine. Those aren’t flaws to me, they’re just reminders of a life well-lived.

Erin advised her followers to pause and think before posting anything negative about people they don’t know.

She advised, “If you can’t find something kind to say, it’s better to stay silent.” She then added that she was going to spend the day outdoors enjoying the lovely weather.

Erin’s fans loved her honest post, and one commenter praised her, saying she looks beautiful both with and without makeup.

Someone else commented, “You look amazing! I’ve always wondered why people choose to be negative instead of simply scrolling past – it really shows their own unhappiness. You look fantastic! I loved Bewitch and your smile!”

Erin recently reflected on her role in Bewitched, and shared her thoughts on what her character, Tabitha, would be doing now.

In an interview with Remind Magazine published on October 17th, she explained, “I believe she’d excel at anything she set her mind to. She wouldn’t hesitate to embrace her strengths, because women of both my generation and Tabitha’s are empowered to be exactly who they want to be and pursue their dreams.”

Erin believes that if given the chance, this person wouldn’t hide away – they’d be confidently enjoying life to the fullest.

He added, “I think I hit it too hard. They don’t look like that.”

While Drake noted that people go under the knife “all the time,” he isn’t one of them.

He added that people have been saying he had a Brazilian Butt Lift, and they’ve even started calling him ‘BBL Drizzy’.

She highlighted that she prefers to maintain her appearance without any facial injections or procedures, and the photo was taken with good lighting and professional makeup.

In a September 2025 Instagram post, Lana shared that she’s never had surgery or been under anesthesia, marking her 15th consecutive year without it. She also mentioned that getting filler to reshape the bridge of the nose—like her doctor used to do—can create a taller, smoother appearance in just seven minutes, according to a screenshot obtained by People magazine.

Lana mentioned a nonsurgical rhinoplasty, which involves using injectable fillers to reshape the nose, explains the Cleveland Clinic. Unlike traditional rhinoplasty, it’s less invasive, but the effects are temporary, typically lasting around six months.

The supermodel, famous from the 1990s, filed a lawsuit in 2021 against Zeltiq Aesthetics. She claimed that a fat-reduction procedure she had in 2015 and 2016 caused permanent damage. The case was settled in 2022.

In January 2021, while pregnant, the model addressed fans’ comments on Instagram. Someone had suggested she stop getting lip injections, and she replied that she’s actually never had them. As a lifestyle expert, I can tell you that Jennifer Aniston actually had a functional nose surgery in her youth to correct a deviated septum – something that affected her breathing. However, she’s been very open about not being a fan of Botox or facial fillers, preferring to embrace a more natural approach to aging. It’s great to see her championing authenticity!

She explained to Yahoo! Beauty in 2014 that Hollywood puts a lot of pressure on women to avoid looking their age. She’s observed many actresses attempting to stay young through procedures she doesn’t agree with, and she’s thankful she can learn from their experiences and avoid those same treatments, stating she refuses to get injections or fillers.

The actress said she’s pretty much experimented with all sorts of treatments. While she’s currently afraid of surgery, she’d be open to trying anything when she turns 50. She clarified she had no objections to others choosing it, saying, ‘Everyone should do what makes them happy.’ However, for her personally, it came down to how she saw herself. She’d prefer people notice her natural features, even if they weren’t considered ‘perfect,’ rather than assume she was insecure enough to alter them. She’d rather be known for who she is, not for trying to hide from it.
