Big Brother Winner Ashley Hollis Shades Runner-Up Vince Panaro

Ashley Hollis isn’t leaving her drama inside the house.

As a lifestyle expert, I was definitely following Big Brother season 27, and wow, what a finale! After winning the $750,000 prize on September 28th, the winner didn’t hold back. She immediately called out Vince Panaro, the runner-up, with a pretty strong message. It was definitely a memorable way to celebrate!

On September 29, Ashley posted a video to Instagram showing clips of a fellow Big Brother houseguest talking about her behind her back to others.

Vince stated in one part of the compilation, “Ashley doesn’t know what the heck is going on.” He continued, “She doesn’t know which way is up? Why does she get to be carried?”

During the season, he was also caught on camera stating, “That’s why I really dislike the fact that she’s made it this far. She hasn’t earned her place here.”

Besides simply sharing the video clips of Vince expressing his issues with her on the show, Ashley strongly responded to what he said.

Ashley shared on Instagram how good it felt to win a vote 6-1, adding, “whewww.” She then directly addressed Vince, saying, “Should’ve gotten me out week one babes! Oh wait, you failed at that because I won the power of veto and took myself off the block!”

Although Vince-who earned $75,000 for placing second-hasn’t responded to Ashley’s criticism yet, many former Big Brother contestants have voiced their support for Ashley bringing attention to his actions.

Season 26 contestant Leah Peters simply wrote “I mean…. Clocked,” in the comments, and her fellow houseguest Tucker Des Lauriers enthusiastically replied with, “Hahaha let’s goooooo!!”

And Jimmy Heagerty-a fellow contestant with Ashley on season 27 who was eliminated on August 7th-jokingly said, “Get her jade.”

I remember watching and realizing Ashley wasn’t alone in feeling frustrated with Vince. It turns out Jimmy actually said a while back that he wished he’d spent more time trying to vote Vince off the show – he considers it one of his biggest regrets from being on the 27th season.

“Do I regret not trying to compete with someone like Vince?” he asked the Cincinnati Enquirer in an interview that came out on August 11. “Definitely.”
