A member of the Big Brother family is experiencing a health crisis.

Mickey Lee, a contestant on the 27th season of the CBS reality show earlier this year, has experienced multiple heart attacks, according to a GoFundMe page created to help with her medical expenses.

The fundraiser organizer, Kori Smith, shared that they are asking for support during a difficult time. Mickey is currently hospitalized in intensive care and is in critical, but stable, condition. While she’s receiving excellent medical care and is surrounded by loved ones, her recovery is expected to be a long and challenging process.

Kori described the Atlanta event curator as full of life, saying Mickey has positively impacted many people with her bravery, strong personality, and memorable time on Big Brother. She urged people to offer Mickey the same care and encouragement now that she needs it.

The 35-year-old was hospitalized recently, just three months after being eliminated from the reality show Big Brother. She lasted 59 days in the competition before being evicted on September 4th.

In the end, Ashley Hollis won season 27, defeating Vince Panaro. The jury voted 7-1 in favor of Ashley.

In an Instagram post during the season finale on September 28th, Mickey reflected on her journey, writing, ‘The Micktator lived, laughed, blinked, and left her mark… what a ride it’s been!’ She continued, saying that while the show is ending, she’ll always cherish the memories, personal growth, and support she received from fans.

As I reflect on everything, I just want to say thank you to all of my incredible fans. Seriously, your support has meant the world to me – from the sweet comments and edits you create, to just being there every step of the way. You’ve truly made this whole experience so much more special, and I feel so seen and supported. I’m so grateful to have you all rocking with me!

This prompted Amy to realize she had been receiving steroid injections after a breast reduction and C-section. She wouldn’t have discovered this without the online attention. She suddenly developed stroke-like symptoms, initially unable to speak or move the right side of her face. Although these symptoms briefly subsided, she went to the hospital for evaluation. Tests revealed she had suffered a small blood clot to the brain, diagnosed as a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack). Further investigation at UCLA discovered a hole in her heart, called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). Doctors determined the blood clot had traveled through this hole and reached her brain, causing the TIA. Hailey has since undergone a successful procedure to close the PFO and is now recovering well.

The same year Hailey faced a health issue, Justin also experienced one. In June 2022, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused temporary paralysis on one side of his face. This forced him to cancel the rest of his Justice World Tour.

In a video posted to Instagram, Justin explained that the virus affected the nerves in his ear and face, preventing him from blinking, smiling, or moving his nostril on the affected side. He also shared that it had become increasingly difficult for him to eat.

Fortunately, the paralysis eventually went away. Hailey later told viewers on Good Morning America that Justin was recovering well and was going to be okay, expressing her relief that he was fine.

A hospital scan revealed she had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a life-threatening stroke caused by a ruptured aneurysm. She immediately underwent surgery to repair it, but the pain was excruciating. During her recovery, she temporarily lost her ability to speak, often muttering incoherently.

After a week, her speech returned, and she was discharged from the hospital a month later. However, a 2013 scan revealed the aneurysm had grown and required a second surgery. This procedure was unsuccessful, leading to a major bleed and a dire prognosis. Doctors had to perform a more invasive surgery, accessing her brain directly through her skull.
