Big Updates on Massive Xbox Games, Bound for PS5, Later This Month

As hinted at late last year, around the time of The Game Awards, Xbox will be holding a major Developer Direct presentation on January 22nd at 10 AM Pacific Time, 1 PM Eastern Time, or 6 PM GMT.

If you’re not sure what time that is in your country, we’ve included a guide below:

  • North America: 10am PST / 11am MST / 12pm CST / 1pm EST
  • UK/Ire: 6pm GMT
  • Europe: 7pm CET / 8pm EET
  • Asia/Oceania: 3am (Fri) JST / 2am (Fri) AWST / 5am (Fri) AEDT

We usually let our colleagues at Pure Xbox share this kind of news, but given how Microsoft is operating currently, we’re confident that almost everything they announce will also be available on PlayStation 5.

Let’s take a closer look at what the broadcast will cover: it’s going to feature Forza Horizon 6 (which will eventually be available on PS5), the new Fable game (which has been heavily rumored for PS5), and surprisingly, Beast of Reincarnation from Game Freak (confirmed for PS5).

So yes, there’s clearly interest for PlayStation fans here.

We’re finally getting a detailed first look at Forza Horizon 6, which was briefly shown during the Tokyo Game Show last year.

We’ll finally get a good look at Fable, a game that’s been in the works for a very long time, after seeing only a few short trailers so far.

We’re teaming up with Pure Xbox for a shared livestream, as we often do. But don’t worry, we’ll have all the latest PlayStation news and updates right here on Push Square after the stream is over.
