Billie Eilish, 24, publicly showed her support for Nat Wolff, 31, whom she began dating in June, as they were first seen together showing affection in Venice. She also shared a clip of the song “Midnight Song” by Nat & Alex Wolff on her social media story.
Billie has supported Nat and Alex’s music in various ways, not just on social media. She invited them to be the opening act on her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour, and she even produced their song “Soft Kissing Hour.”
Nat recently told Rolling Stone that recording the song with Billie Eilish was a very intimate experience. It was just the three of them in the room, using a single microphone that Nat had to hold because it couldn’t reach the piano where Alex was playing, which was about 20 feet away.
The actor from Paper Towns also said Billie – who collaborated with these musicians on her 2024 song “Wildflower” – was the one who suggested she sing backup vocals for the ending of the song.

Nat explained that the idea for Billie and him to sing the final section of the song came from Billie. She’d suggested it, saying it would be a lovely addition, and they’d successfully used the same approach on their song “Wildflower.”
Something cute happened during the recording process! Billie’s dog, Shark, accidentally ended up on the track. Nat shared that after sending the recording for mixing, they actually asked the engineer to add back in little sounds like Shark snoring because they loved it.
He added that there was something inspiring about the situation. He explained that when you don’t have much time or resources, and you’re just having fun with it, something truly special can happen.
