Bindi Irwin’s Health Scare:

Bindi Irwin is feeling thankful while in recovery mode.

A few days following Bindi’s hospitalization due to a burst appendix, which occurred in the jungle, she thanked everyone who sent their well-wishes.

Bindi, aged 26, expressed heartfelt appreciation for all the beautiful messages she received via her Instagram Stories on May 13. Sharing a picture of herself resting in a hospital bed, she admitted that she couldn’t respond to everyone but is recovering and feeling incredibly thankful for the kindness shown by all.

Robert Irwin, who is 21 years old and her younger brother, provided some information about his sister’s health incident following their conspicuous absence at the annual Steve Irwin Gala on May 11 in Las Vegas. This event honors the life and legacy of their father, Steve Irwin.

She traveled to Las Vegas and intended to attend the gala, bravely enduring significant discomfort and pain. However, she decided to push through, stating ‘I’m going to hold on, I’m going to give it a try.’ But the doctor said, ‘I’m sorry, your appendix needs to be removed.'” – Robert explained to People magazine.

Not long after her emergency appendectomy, Bindi opened up about the extent of her health issue. It turns out that the star of “Bindi’s Bootcamp,” who is mother to 4-year-old Grace Warrior with husband Chandler Powell, had several surgeries to address other health issues as well.

In a post on Instagram dated May 12th, she shared that she had a surgery during which they took out her appendix and needed to eliminate 14 new endometriosis lesions. Additionally, they addressed her hernia by sewing it up for her.

For more than ten years, Bindi has openly discussed her struggle with endometriosis – a condition characterized by the growth of irregular tissue outside the womb, leading to intense discomfort and potential fertility issues, as defined by the World Health Organization.

Furthermore, though the operation took them by surprise, Bindi observed that they would find a way to persevere.

She went on, “I’m making progress day by day towards healing,” she said. “I’m incredibly blessed with all the affection surrounding me.

In April 2025, an ex-star of the show “Beverly Hills, 90210” shared that he was healing following an appendix operation, as it had come close to rupturing.

A week ago, I began experiencing abdominal discomfort,” Brian explained in a recent Instagram post. “This led me to visit the hospital emergency room, where it was discovered that I had a nearly-burst appendix.

He added, “I’m on the road to recovery. It’s not an easy process. This is my first major surgery.”

Adam Devine mentioned that the injuries he suffered at age 11, following an accident with a cement truck, continue to impact him up until now.

Devine expressed in an episode of the In Depth With Graham Bensinger podcast in 2025 that it has been a harrowing experience for him. He explained that he’s been experiencing spasms throughout his body and was informed by doctors earlier this year that his life could end very soon.

He observed that pain occasionally appears and disappears, expressing, “Sometimes my body seems a bit out of alignment and not quite right.

Previously part of Bachelor Nation, this individual revealed that he had to visit the hospital by crawling on hands and knees, suffering from excruciating back pain which worsened during a recreational vehicle journey with a companion.

At this moment, from my knees to my toes, it’s quite numb, which is surprising,” he remarked in an episode of his Trading Secrets podcast on March 2025. “To clarify, about two to four weeks ago, I was doing squats with around 295 pounds. Now, I can’t even do a squat on one leg; I lose balance. It feels like I had a minor stroke or something similar.

But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

During a game in December 2024, an AHL player got 25 stitches after getting sliced by another player’s skate. Later, when the player had completely healed, his father, New Jersey Devils general manager Tom Fitzgerald, expressed gratitude to ESPN, saying, “We were incredibly fortunate. I wouldn’t wish such an incident on any parent.

Back in March 2025, I, a devoted fan, was overjoyed to hear that my beloved Gina Kirschenheiter from Real Housewives of Orange County shared some truly heartening news about her ex-husband Matt. Despite facing the harrowing experience of a heart attack, Matt miraculously pulled through the ordeal and is now on the road to recovery.

30 Rock’s main actor experienced a health emergency during a New York Knicks basketball match in March 2025, resulting in him being taken from Madison Square Garden in a wheelchair.

I woke up the next day to find an update from my beloved comedian on social media. He clarified it was simply a bout of food poisoning and assured us all that he was on the path to recovery.

In February 2025, the former star of ‘Even Stevens’ revealed that she had been accidentally shot in the face during a clay pigeon shooting trip to celebrate her husband Brendan Rooney’s birthday.

As a grateful survivor, I shared on Instagram: “Another individual joined our gathering, and recklessly discharged their weapon haphazardly, striking me squarely in the face.” Instantly, @thebrendanrooney leaped into action, evaluated my injuries, and swiftly transported me to the hospital. Regrettably, I was hit five times, with one bullet narrowly missing my right eye by less than an inch.

The former star of “Kim Possible” added, “Regrettably, a piece became stuck at the back of my eye, and it’s not safe for surgery right now. The doctors are keeping a close watch on me, but I can see fine as of now.

In her own words, the actress expressed her heartfelt gratitude for simply being alive. She shared how deeply she cherishes her daughters, husband, family, and friends. Recounting a near-death experience, she urged everyone to seize every opportunity to embrace those close to them. In an instant, life can take a surprising turn.

Although the internet isn’t always friendly, Amy Schumer is grateful that it provided her with much-needed answers in this particular instance. In an episode of Call Her Daddy from January 2025, she reminisced about facing criticism following a series of interviews, saying, “I was like, ‘Everybody, calm down,'” regarding her swollen appearance. However, medical professionals began commenting and suggested she might be suffering from Cushing syndrome, which they believed could be linked to elevated cortisol levels or steroid injections.

Upon realizing that she had been receiving steroid injections in her scars, Amy connected the dots. She had undergone procedures such as a breast reduction and C-section, leading to these steroid treatments. As a result, she developed Cushing syndrome – a condition she wouldn’t have known about without the intense online scrutiny.

Now, Amy is simply relieved to know that she’s in good health. She shared her relief in a February 2024 News Not Noise newsletter, stating, “Discovering I had a form of Cushing syndrome that would eventually resolve itself and leave me healthy was the best possible news I could have received.

In March 2022, Hailey Bieber encountered a truly terrifying incident while having breakfast with her husband Justin Bieber. She began exhibiting symptoms similar to a stroke, causing her speech to become impaired and one side of her face to droop. Although these symptoms subsided, she was taken to the hospital for examination.

Upon examination, it was discovered that Hailey had experienced a small blood clot in her brain, known as a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA). Further investigation revealed that she had a heart condition called patent foramen ovale (PFO), which allowed the blood clot to travel from her heart to her brain.

After undergoing a PFO closure procedure, Hailey reported feeling well again. She shared her experience on YouTube, explaining how Justin noticed something was wrong and asked if she was okay. Unfortunately, Hailey couldn’t respond due to her symptoms, but after seeking medical attention, she was able to make a full recovery.

In the same year as Hailey’s health crisis, Justin also faced his own medical issue. Specifically, in June 2022, the singer known for “Baby” announced a diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome. This condition affected parts of his face, leading to temporary paralysis and the cancellation of the rest of his Justice World Tour.

Justin himself explained on Instagram that this virus targeted nerves in his ear and facial area, causing facial paralysis. At the time, he was unable to blink one eye, smile from one side of his face, or move one nostril. As a result, there was full paralysis on one side of his face. He added that eating had become increasingly difficult for him. However, with time, the paralysis subsided.

Hailey commented on a June 2022 episode of Good Morning America, stating that Justin was doing well and feeling much better. She acknowledged that it was a scary and seemingly random situation but expressed gratitude that he was okay in the end.

As an ardent admirer, let me share my take on the account Jamie Foxx shared in his 2024 Netflix special, “What Had Happened Was…”. One day in Atlanta, I found myself in excruciating pain, asking for a simple aspirin. But before I could get it, I blacked out. I don’t remember 20 days that followed.

Jamie revealed that he was initially examined by a doctor who administered a cortisone shot and sent him home. However, his sister, Deidra Dixon, sensing something was amiss, drove him to a hospital. There, they discovered the root of my distress: I had suffered a brain bleed, which led to a stroke.

Twenty days later, following an operation on May 4, I woke up in a wheelchair, unable to walk. I then traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.

In his own words, “All I can tell you is that I appreciate every prayer, because I needed every prayer.

In 2019, Emilia Clarke, who is known for her role in Game of Thrones, penned an essay titled “A Battle for My Life” in The New Yorker. During filming, she experienced severe headaches at the gym, which eventually led to vomiting and worsening pain. She believed her brain was damaged and was rushed to the hospital for a scan.

The diagnosis was a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a life-threatening type of stroke caused by bleeding around the brain. Emilia underwent immediate surgery to seal the aneurysm, describing the pain as unbearable. During her recovery, she experienced aphasia and found herself muttering nonsense.

A week later, the aphasia subsided, and she was discharged from the hospital a month after admission. However, in 2013, during a routine scan, doctors discovered that the growth had doubled in size, requiring another surgery.

“When they woke me up,” she wrote, “I was screaming in pain. The procedure had failed. I had a massive bleed and the doctors made it clear that my chances of surviving were precarious if they didn’t operate again. This time they needed to access my brain through my skull.”

Fortunately, Emilia is now reportedly in perfect health.

As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but express my gratitude towards Snoop Dogg and the entire Broadus family for their unwavering support during my trying times. In January 2024, I faced a severe stroke, a moment that left me feeling helpless. But in an instant, my loved ones were by my side, rushing to help me in my time of need.

I remember sending them a picture and a text, telling them about the stroke, and then witnessing an outpouring of love and concern. Everyone rallied around me, coming to my rescue just when I needed it most.

Due to other complications related to my health, I ended up staying in the hospital longer than anticipated. My lupus wasn’t cooperating, and my kidneys were failing. The situation was dire, but I had the strength to push through because of their love and support.

Today, I am happy to say that I am on the road to recovery. “I’m doing great,” I expressed to a TopMob News correspondent, Will Marfuggi, in December 2024. There were minor issues with my motor skills, but other than that, I was fine.

Looking back, it’s clear that the love and support of my family played a crucial role in helping me get through those challenging times. They stood by me, offering hope and encouragement when I needed it most. And for that, I will always be grateful.

During the challenging phase of my twenties, my health took a toll on me. It escalated to the point where I was losing my hearing, struggling to walk for more than five minutes without needing extended rest, and experiencing discomfort with everything I ate, which affected my stomach. This period was marked by a mix of health issues, various diagnoses, and contradictory advice from different medical professionals.

Determined to find answers, I drew upon my holistic background and knowledge of herbalism. I sought help not only from conventional doctors but also independent healers. It was a decade-long quest for comfort within my own body.

Throughout this journey, the physical discomfort led me to develop other issues, such as fearing food due to stomach pain, which further triggered mental struggles like body dysmorphia, identity confusion, and feelings of insecurity about my body and self.

Thankfully, after focusing on both my physical and mental well-being, I am now feeling much better and stronger. I’m glad to share that I have regained my health and am enjoying a happier, healthier life.
