Bitcoin may reach $150K or $400K in 2025, based on SBR and Fed rates — Blockware

As a seasoned crypto investor with over a decade of experience navigating the digital asset landscape, I find Blockware’s forecast intriguing yet cautiously optimistic. The potential for Bitcoin‘s price to quadruple is certainly tantalizing, but I’ve learned that even the most bullish predictions can take an unexpected turn.

The idea of Donald Trump’s Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and Federal Reserve policies playing a significant role in BTC‘s future price action is fascinating, given the political climate surrounding digital assets. If the US government does indeed adopt Bitcoin as a reserve asset, it could potentially ignite a wave of mainstream adoption and institutional investment that we haven’t seen before.

However, I remain skeptical about some aspects of this forecast. While Jack Mallers’ prediction about Trump issuing an executive order on his first day in office seems plausible, considering the pro-Bitcoin stance of many Republican leaders, I’m not convinced that long-term holders would aggressively sell Bitcoin under most circumstances.

The “base case” of $225,000 for Bitcoin by 2025 sounds reasonable if we consider the ongoing corporate adoption and expected interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve. However, I find it challenging to envision all three factors aligning for a $400,000 bull case price target.

In terms of humor, let me share an old joke that always brings a smile: Why don’t we ever tell secrets in a Bitcoin forum? Because it’s always public! And remember, never invest more than you can afford to lose – even in the world of digital gold.

As a crypto investor, I’m keeping a close eye on the potential impact of Donald Trump’s Strategic Bitcoin Reserve plan and Federal Reserve policies on Bitcoin’s price in 2025. According to Blockware, an influential crypto mining firm, we could see Bitcoin’s value rise up to four times its current value, or at the very least, experience a 58% increase. This is a promising outlook that has me excited about the future of my crypto investments.

As an analyst, I foresee a potential bullish scenario for Bitcoin (BTC) in the coming years, where the “bear case” could propel its price to approximately a 58% increase, reaching an estimated $150,000 from its current value of around $94,981, as outlined in Blockware’s December 28 market forecast report.

Bitcoin’s price action could play out in different ways in 2025

According to Blockware, it’s plausible for Bitcoin’s price to drop to $150,000 if President Donald Trump fails to implement the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve as planned – a scenario that the crypto industry is optimistically anticipating could occur during his initial term.

According to Jack Mallers, the founder and CEO of Strike, it’s probable that President Trump may issue an executive order on his inauguration day, aiming to classify Bitcoin as a U.S. reserve asset.

If the Federal Reserve continues to change its stance on interest rate cuts, Blockware suggests that the bear case scenario might become a reality, prompting long-term Bitcoin holders (those who have held it for more than 155 days) to sell off their Bitcoin in larger quantities.

Under these conditions – if the U.S. government converts its Bitcoins into a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, the Federal Reserve reduces interest rates as planned, and corporate adoption maintains its current momentum – Blockware sets $225,000 as their target figure.

Blockware stated that a $400,000 “bull case” Bitcoin price is possible if the three factors align.

Initially, the Federal Reserve should take a more accommodating approach, since the main Consumer Price Index (CPI) has dropped.

To further spur the growth of Bitcoin, it’s crucial that one of these seven major corporations – namely Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Facebook (Meta Platforms), Microsoft, Nvidia, or Tesla – should consider incorporating Bitcoin into their financial assets.

US gov’t must accumulate BTC to reach $400K target

At the annual meeting held on December 10th, one of the companies, namely Microsoft, saw its shareholders reject a proposal to incorporate Bitcoin into the company’s financial records.

As a crypto investor, I can’t help but contemplate the potential scenario where the U.S. government transforms their current bitcoin holdings into a Strategic Bitcoin Reserves. However, it’s intriguing to envision not just stopping there, but also actively acquiring more Bitcoin in the future. Interestingly, Galaxy Digital has recently expressed skepticism about this happening.

As an analyst at Galaxy Research, I stated in our December 27 report that I do not anticipate the U.S. government to acquire Bitcoin in the year 2025.

Instead, Thorn mentioned that the U.S. administration plans to accumulate a Bitcoin reserve from its existing holdings, with further talks about Bitcoin reserve policies ongoing.
