So, Bitcoin. Still just…there. It’s like that guest who overstays their welcome, but isn’t doing anything particularly interesting. Stuck between $87,500 and $88,000. Riveting. Absolutely riveting. You know, I once had a bagel stuck between $2.50 and $2.60. More dramatic, frankly.
And all these other coins – the ‘altcoins’, they call them. Very fancy. Mostly just milling about. Except for… Canton. Canton?! Seriously? CC? What is that, a community college? And it’s up 17%! 17%! I spent three days arguing with a cable company to save $15. This is an outrage.
BTC Just…Is
Apparently, it went up and down around Christmas. A whole ten days of “volatility”. Like anyone noticed. People were with family. Nobody’s checking CoinGecko when Aunt Mildred is asking about your life choices. It got close to $90,000, then it didn’t. Then it did a little, then it didn’t again. It’s exhausting just hearing about it. I have enough drama in my life, thank you very much.
Spiked to $90,000? Then plummeted to $84,400?! It’s like an emotional roller coaster, except the roller coaster is made of ones and zeros and doesn’t serve pretzels.
Then it wobbled around a bit. $86,400, $89,600… honestly, who cares? It’s sitting near $88,000 now. Close enough. What’s a few thousand dollars among friends, right? 💸
It’s worth…a lot. I still don’t understand any of it. Which is probably for the best.
Canton. I Mean, Really?
So Ethereum is doing…something. And Ripple. And BNB. They’re all “up by 1-2%”. Groundbreaking. ADA is up 5% to $0.37. HUGE. I once found 37 cents in a coat pocket. It felt…comparable.
UNI and NEAR are up. More good news! And then…CC. Canton. Again. Up another 17%! What are they, running a Ponzi scheme in a garage?! It’s trading at 12 cents. Twelve cents! It’s practically Monopoly money! 🙄
The whole crypto thing is up $30 billion. That’s…a lot of billions. Still doesn’t explain Canton.
Honestly? I’m going to make a sandwich. This is too much.
