The manga Black Clover is back with a big new installment this fall, launching the story’s final arc. Creator Yuki Tabata’s series pits Asta and the Clover Kingdom against the formidable Lucius Zogratis. The fight began earlier this summer, and after a serious injury, Asta has returned to the battle stronger than ever.
The latest chapters of Black Clover are now available in Shueisha’s Jump GIGA magazine, continuing the final battle against Lucius. These new chapters are quickly moving the story towards its conclusion, and it’s becoming clear that the series is reaching its climax. Jump GIGA has already hinted that the story’s “Super Climax” will begin in the Winter 2026 issue.
Black Clover Readies for Its Super Climax
The latest chapters of Black Clover (384-386) see Asta rejoin the fight after being rescued and healed by Mimosa. Now back to full strength, he teams up with Yuno to continue battling. Other Magic Knights are also achieving victories against the Paladins, with several new powers and transformations being revealed. It’s becoming increasingly clear that the story is heading towards its conclusion.
The final story arc of Black Clover will kick off with the next issue of Shueisha’s Jump GIGA magazine, expected in January. While an exact release date hasn’t been announced, the arc will likely conclude the battle against Lucius in several chapters. The latest updates show Asta and Yuno reaching new levels of power as they prepare to deliver what appears to be the final blow against the villain.
Black Clover Is Likely Ending Next Year

Considering the recent pace of the story – with major events happening very quickly, even within a single page – it’s becoming increasingly likely that Black Clover will conclude in 2026. While the series still has a lot of plot threads to tie up and could potentially have time for a proper ending, it feels like the creators are actively moving towards finishing the story. This makes sense given the current status of the Black Clover franchise.
The anime Black Clover is preparing for a new season! Although we don’t have a release date yet, this gives the anime time to adapt the story, as there will be enough source material. With the manga entering its final arc, “Super Climax,” next year, it seems the anime will be able to continue the story right after where it left off in 2021. Get ready for the exciting conclusion!
