Black Clover has grown into a hugely popular shonen series as Asta gets closer to achieving his dream of becoming the Wizard King. While anime viewers are eager for the show’s return, the manga is expected to finish its run before the anime is back. Recently, Weekly Shonen Jump and the manga’s author, Yuki Tabata, announced plans to resume publishing Black Clover soon. The manga will be back quickly, and fans may be surprised by the number of chapters that will be released all at once later this month.
Black Clover’s manga will be back on October 30th in Weekly Shonen Jump. Fans can look forward to seeing the conclusion of Asta’s final battle just before Halloween in Japan, with three new chapters wrapping up the story. This is welcome news, especially since chapter 383 left readers on a big cliffhanger! The series recently celebrated its tenth anniversary with contributions from other manga artists who shared their own visions of the magical world, giving Black Clover even more to celebrate.
When Last We Left Black Clover

As many Black Clover fans are aware, the story’s final arc centers on Asta, Yuno, and their numerous companions as they try to defeat the villain Lucius. Like a lot of anime villains, Lucius isn’t simply strong; he also believes he deserves to rule the world. He thinks he’s the only one capable of leading effectively and fixing the world’s perceived “problems,” making him a truly formidable opponent.
As we discussed before, the major cliffhanger at the end of the last manga chapter was Asta finally getting back on his feet and vowing to finish this fight. With Yuno barely holding on in his battle against Lucius, Asta’s return couldn’t have happened at a more crucial moment. Although the release date for Black Clover’s final chapter is still unknown, the manga might conclude this year, well before the second season of the anime is released. And speaking of the anime adaptation…
Asta’s Anime Comeback
Studio Pierrot announced earlier this year that fans will finally get the second season of the Black Clover anime in 2026. It’s been over four years since the last episode aired, giving the series creator, Yuki Tabata, time to develop more of the original manga for the anime studio to adapt. Recently, Pierrot has been producing anime in seasons rather than releasing episodes weekly. With the final parts of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War also coming soon, the studio is currently working on several projects.
