Initially released exclusively for PlayStation consoles this year, Black Myth: Wukong has left some uncertainty as to whether it bypassed the day one launch on Xbox Series X/S due to an exclusivity deal. However, recent signs suggest that the game’s developer, Game Science, could be preparing to extend its action RPG to the Xbox platform.
The game “Black Myth: Wukong” has been rated by the ESRB for play on the Xbox Series X/S, even though no official announcement about this has been made yet by Game Science. However, these ratings are usually done close to release, implying that an Xbox release of the popular action RPG might be closer than we anticipate.
Before the game’s launch earlier this year, Game Science expressed their intention to “reduce wait times for Xbox users”, however, they didn’t specify a particular schedule they were aiming to adhere to.
The game “Black Myth: Wukong” can be played on both PS5 and PC systems, and a physical version for PS5 is coming soon. To date, it has been sold over 20 million copies globally. Additionally, the developers at Game Science are currently working on an expansion for the game.
