BLACKPINK’s Lisa Drops Jaws in Sheer Look at the Gol2026 Golden Globes

Lisa is checking into the 2026 Golden Globes.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie and actress from The White Lotus walked the red carpet at the awards show on January 11th at the Beverly Hilton. The event was hosted by Nikki Glaser, and Jennie is also scheduled to present an award.

Lalisa Manobal, known as Lisa, looked gorgeous in a black Jacquemus gown. The dress had a sheer top layer with a black tube top underneath and eye-catching sleeves. She finished the outfit with a bold, layered necklace. (See all the red carpet looks here.)

This event will be her first time at the Golden Globes. She’s not only presenting, but also cheering on her fellow cast members from The White Lotus, which received a leading six nominations – including one for Best Television Series, Drama.

This HBO show was also the K-pop singer’s first time acting, and she was quite anxious about it at first.

She told Variety in February that, as this was her first acting role, she wasn’t sure what to expect on set. However, she was very grateful for all the support she received, saying, ‘Thank you, everyone!’

Lisa explained that when the show’s creator and director, Mike White, said “action” for the very first time, she was incredibly nervous.

“I was sweating,” she recalled. “I was like, ‘I can’t remember my lines.’ I’m blanked.”

Fortunately, the singer of “How You Like That” quickly adjusted and was very thankful to be part of such a talented group of actors, including Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Aimee Lou Wood, Walton Goggins, and Jason Isaacs—all of whom have received Golden Globe nominations.

Oh my gosh, I was screaming when I saw Lisa’s post! She wrote on Instagram back in April, and it was just everything. Basically, she was thanking Mike White – you know, the genius behind everything – for believing in her enough to let her play Mook. She said he trusted her to become Mook, to really bring that character to life, and honestly? She did. It was perfect! I’m still obsessed.

Honestly, being on that show was a dream come true! It was my very first acting role, and I was completely blown away to be working with such a talented cast. It truly felt like the biggest honor of my life.

Playing the character of Mook was a transformative experience for the actress, who said it helped her discover more about who she is and what she’s capable of.
