2025 saw me, a teary-eyed fan and fervent admirer of Blackpink, at the MTV Video Music Awards. At a 2024 Oscars after-party, she encountered yet another surreal instance, finding herself receiving style tips from Jennifer Lawrence in a restroom.

Rose was pondering with a buddy about whether to don her functional eyeglasses for vision or opt for stylish sunglasses instead.

She reminisced about saying, “‘Which one should I pick: the glasses as spectacles or the sunglasses? Could you help me decide which looks more appealing?’ She also remembered thinking, “‘I might need to wear my regular glasses since without them, I wouldn’t be able to see at all.’

During our conversation, someone unexpectedly exits the bathroom, and Jennifer Lawrence is there, apparently referring to some mystery topic by saying, “I have no idea what you’re discussing, but remove that.” After a moment of surprise, it becomes clear she meant for Rosé to take off her sunglasses. Jennifer then added, “Please avoid talking to my husband while wearing them.” Rosé found the situation amusing.
