Tetsuya Nomura, the brainchild behind ‘Bleach’, has weighed in on the popular manga ‘Black Clover‘ and paid homage to an unexpected star with a unique commemorative piece. As ‘Black Clover’ marks its 10th anniversary, the series is pulling out all the stops to celebrate this significant milestone. One of the ways it’s honoring the occasion is by enlisting some of Shonen Jump’s leading creators and artists for their personal interpretations of the series through a series of special tribute artworks during the summer months. The initial batch of creator tributes has been unveiled, boasting several high-profile names already associated with the project.
In the ongoing celebration for the 10th anniversary of the popular manga “Black Clover”, renowned creators like Eiichiro Oda (of “One Piece”) and Masashi Kishimoto (“Naruto”) have already contributed special tributes. Continuing this tradition, Tite Kubo, the mastermind behind “Bleach”, has also added his unique touch. Instead of focusing on established characters like Asta or others from the series, Kubo chose an intriguing twist and spotlighted a relatively newer member of the Black Bulls, Zora Ideale. You can find this special piece, shared by Shueisha, below for your viewing pleasure.
What’s Next for Black Clover’s 10th Anniversary?
Three renowned artists from the creators of “One Piece”, “Naruto” and “Bleach”, among a total of 17, have been enlisted to mark the 10th anniversary milestone of “Black Clover”. Notable names like Gege Akutami from “Jujutsu Kaisen” are part of this lineup, sparking great anticipation among fans for the upcoming reinterpretations of “Black Clover”. In addition to creating special promotional artwork, Yuki Tabata has been tirelessly working to deliver three new chapters of the manga this summer as the final story arc unfolds.
In approximately one week, the manga for ‘Black Clover’ is set to resume in Shueisha’s Jump GIGA magazine, offering three fresh chapters as we move towards the climactic battles. Additionally, it has been announced that a second season of the anime adaptation is being developed, though its release date remains undisclosed at this point. Upon its debut, ‘Black Clover’ Season 2 will be animated by Studio Pierrot once more, and Crunchyroll will exclusively stream the episodes as they become available.
What’s Next for Bleach?
The anime adaptation of “Bleach” is set to carry on with the fourth and concluding phase of its latest series. Titled “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 – The Calamity“, this upcoming installment is planned for release next year, although a specific date or timeframe has yet to be announced. This final arc will adapt approximately the last 30 chapters from Kubo’s original manga and promises to unveil previously unseen content in these new episodes.
Until this point, the anime adaptation of Bleach had been quite similar to its manga counterpart. However, Masashi Kudo, the character designer for Bleach, shared during Anime Expo 2025 that there will be more exclusive scenes in the future. These new additions are something to be excited about, as they promise fresh discoveries, even for long-time readers of the manga. This includes the introduction of new characters, and yes, you can expect to see some of them soon.
