Fans are eagerly awaiting the final season of Bleach anime, which will premiere later this year. As a special treat while we wait, a new batch of episodes for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will be released this summer, bringing the series to a close after more than twenty years. This long journey has also given fans a chance to appreciate everything Bleach has accomplished over the years.
I’ve been following a cool side project for Bleach fans called The Stories. It’s been re-releasing older episodes alongside interviews with the voice actors, reflecting on their experiences with the show. It feels like a big build-up to the final arc coming this summer! They just announced the next update will focus on the Soul Society Arc, and to celebrate, they released a new poster featuring Ichigo Kurosaki – you can check it out below.
When Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Final Season Come Out?

I’m following the release of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 – The Calamity, and it’s currently planned to premiere sometime this July as part of the Summer 2026 anime season. While we don’t have an exact date yet, Viz Media will be handling the official English release outside of Japan. It’s likely there will be an English dub, similar to past seasons, but that hasn’t been officially confirmed. In the meantime, you can stream the previous parts on Hulu in the US and Disney+ in other countries.
The fourth part of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity will bring back the same talented team and voice actors as before, promising more of the intense action viewers have come to expect. These final episodes will cover the last chapters of Tite Kubo’s manga, and fans will finally see the ultimate transformations and power-ups animated for the first time – something they’ve been eagerly anticipating.
How Will Bleach End?

The manga provides plenty of content for these last episodes, but it remains to be seen how the anime will handle everything. A good thing about making this final season of Bleach after the manga finished is that the creator, Kubo, had time to review the story and improve upon it. He’s already added new scenes and details to the anime’s version of the final arc, and we can expect even more changes in these final episodes.
This makes the ending of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War especially interesting. Some parts of the original ending were controversial, and the anime has a chance to improve upon them. Considering Tite Kubo, the original creator, has returned to the series and even added a new story arc, it’s impossible to know how the anime will ultimately conclude things.
