At the recent New Game+ Showcase, Pokuch and META Publishing unveiled their new open-world survival crafting game, Blind Descent. A trailer for the game has been released and can be viewed below. What makes Blind Descent unique is that it’s set underground on the planet Mars.
The game begins after a disastrous mission leaves you as the sole survivor, stranded and waking up on a strange alien planet. You start by searching for your lost crew, but as you play, you’ll discover how to survive and thrive in this new world by learning to live with its environment.
A key feature of the game Blind Descent is its Symbiosis System, inspired by the world of Scavengers Reign. Players explore and interact with the environment to uncover the secrets of the game’s world.
You can try out Blind Descent now with a demo on Steam! The game will soon be available in Early Access, and the developers plan to spend about a year polishing and expanding it before the full version 1.0 is released. They’ll be adding new story content and features regularly during this time. The final version will include everything – the complete story and all gameplay features – for a fully realized experience.
You can play Blind Descent alone or with a friend in co-op mode. It will be available on PC through Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
