The upcoming comic book fighting game, Invincible VS, is set to release in about three months, and the developers are steadily adding more playable characters as the launch date approaches.
Dev Quarter Up has announced that Anissa and Lucan will be playable characters when the game launches on April 30th.
To acknowledge the announcement, series co-creator Robert Kirkman shared the following message:
As a huge Invincible fan, I’m so excited to see the Viltrumites taking center stage! They’re such a massive part of the story, it makes total sense they’d be a key focus in ‘Invincible VS.’ With everything happening in Season 4 of the show, the ‘Battle Beast’ comics, and now what’s coming in the game, 2026 is shaping up to be an incredible year for Viltrumite content – I can’t wait!
Anissa is a fast and powerful fighter who excels at close combat. She uses quick movements, a flurry of attacks, and aggressive combos to overwhelm her opponents.
Lucan is a skilled grappler who uses quick movements and aerial techniques to control opponents. He’s known for powerful throws, quick strikes, and attacks aimed at their lower body.
I just watched the trailer, and you can really see both characters in action! Their special moves look seriously powerful – definitely worth checking out!
