Blue Ivy Carter, the 13-year-old daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, attended the 2025 Angel Ball in New York City with her grandmother, Tina Knowles, on October 27th. Although she skipped the red carpet, Blue looked stunning in a pink outfit as she entered the event.

For the event, Blue wore a pink silk gown with a fitted corset top. She completed the look with a dramatic feathered boa and sparkling diamond jewelry. Her makeup was kept simple and natural, featuring a slightly lined lip and a nude pink gloss that complemented her blonde, braided hair.

At the annual fundraiser, Tina was recognized for her dedication to raising money for cancer research. She wore a black sleeveless dress with long opera gloves and shared a glimpse of a fun evening she spent with her granddaughter.

Blue shared a selfie with her daughter, Tina, at the Angel Ball on October 27th, captioning the Instagram post, “With my Beautiful Blue tonight.”

Even though she couldn’t attend, Beyoncé—mother to 8-year-old twins Rumi and Sir, with Jay-Z—shared her excitement about her mother’s award on Instagram. She posted a photo with the message, “Congrats Mom on your philanthropy award at the Angel Ball tonight!”

Tina recently shared how much she admires Blue, her daughter, and how Blue inspires her to stay balanced. This came after Tina privately fought breast cancer in 2024. She spoke about their connection while performing together on the Cowboy Carter Tour earlier this year.

During her appearance on the October 27th episode of Sherri, Tina explained that children need to be explicitly taught important life lessons. She said, ‘You have to teach them that good character matters more than anything, and that success comes from hard work. No one will simply give you things just because of who your parents are or because they like you.’

She added that they’re aware they’ll face consequences if they become arrogant. However, their mother quickly corrected their behavior and won’t tolerate any sense of entitlement.

Following a performance with her mother during the 2023 Renaissance World Tour, where she showcased her dancing skills in two major numbers, Blue Ivy is now back on stage for the Cowboy Carter tour.

Perry explained on TODAY that Blue Ivy was so eager to win, she kept grabbing the bidding paddle from her parents, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, to continue raising the price. Not wanting to be outbid by a child, Perry ultimately won with a final bid of $20,000 – $1,000 more than Blue Ivy’s last offer.
