Blue Therapy cast: Meet the couples on new Netflix reality series

Blue Therapy became a popular show in 2021, offering a unique take on couples therapy, and is now available to stream on Netflix.

This eight-episode reality show is surprisingly captivating and offers a real-time look into the intense and personal therapy sessions of seven couples.

Experienced therapist Karen Doherty will guide the couples, and the show will offer a raw and honest look at their therapy sessions, focusing on taking responsibility, being open, and genuine emotions.

Relationships are often portrayed on TV and in movies as exciting but complicated – and sometimes even unhealthy, according to creator Andy Amadi. But we don’t often see the work that goes into fixing those relationships. ‘Blue Therapy’ is different; it focuses on the difficult process of resolving conflict and making positive changes.

So, who are the couples stepping into the therapy room? Read on to find out more.

Daisy and Jay have had a complicated relationship for five years, constantly breaking up and getting back together. They’ve struggled with trust, and it’s been a persistent problem for both of them.

This couple has a young child together, but their relationship is rocky after a recent separation. They’re hoping therapy will help them understand their underlying issues and decide if they can make things work.

Maria and Vikto have been a couple for seven years, but they disagree about important things like marriage, their cultural backgrounds, and what being committed to each other really looks like.

This isn’t the first time the couple has discussed their relationship on TV – they previously appeared on Olivia Attwood’s show, Bad Boyfriends, which aired on ITV2.

Maria nominated Viktor for the show because he hadn’t made a proposal yet, and both of them will be returning for another season of Blue Therapy.

Mike and Yasmin

Mike and Yasmin appear to have a wonderful life with their children, but hidden secrets are causing them problems.

Yasmin signed up for Blue Therapy to address issues with Mike’s hidden finances, as secrets about their money were being uncovered in therapy.

Debbie and Kelvin

Debbie and Kelvin have been a couple for a while, but Kelvin’s demanding work schedule often leaves him with less time for Debbie.

Debbie is tired of using expensive gifts to make up after arguments, so she’s brought the couple to therapy to work through their problems.

Mons and Shay

Mons and Shay have been a couple for two years and share a home, but their relationship is facing difficulties because of Shay’s past cheating.

This situation raises a crucial question: How do you react when your partner acknowledges they wouldn’t accept the same behavior from you?

Junior and Carmen

Junior and Carmen have been together for over two decades, but they haven’t always seen eye-to-eye.
