Bobbi Althoff knows online hate is really not good.
More than a year after her divorce from Cory Althoff was completed, the host of the Not This Again podcast publicly addressed some upsetting comments she received about her boyfriend, Ty Hawkins.
Bobbi shared in a TikTok video on November 23rd that she and her partner have been together for a year, but she’s constantly receiving hurtful comments whenever she posts about him. People accuse her of being used or quickly discarded, and suggest her partner is unaware of her past relationships. She described the comments as consistently cruel.
The 28-year-old mother of two daughters, 5-year-old Luca and 3-year-old Isla, shared that she thinks she gets a lot of negative comments online because many of her followers are men who often make hurtful remarks. While she wishes she could ignore the criticism, she admitted it’s been exhausting dealing with constant negativity.
She admitted that, despite her best efforts, the negative comments still bothered her. “Anyone would feel down if they were constantly facing this much negativity,” she explained.
Bobbi first gained attention in July 2023 when her interview with Drake on her podcast, The Really Good Podcast (which is no longer running), went viral. She also addressed rumors online suggesting her interviews with guests like Nick Cannon and NBA star Kevin Durant involve more than just conversation.
She explained that people were spreading rumors about her having relationships with her guests. She insisted these rumors weren’t true, but admitted that no one would likely believe her anyway.
Beyond the emotional toll of the online hate, Bobbi said she is speaking out because of her kids.
You know, it’s so easy to get caught up in negative comments online. I’ve definitely been there! I find myself trying to brush them off, but then the self-doubt creeps in – that voice telling you you’re not doing enough. It’s a real struggle! But honestly, those who really know me, who see my everyday life, they know I pour my heart and soul into being a mom. And my kids? They’re my everything. It’s about remembering that truth, not letting the noise get you down.
Bobbi also wants to heal and move forward from her relationship with Cory, which began when she was 21 and he was 30.

She admitted it was hard seeing her ex move on. ‘He’s happy with someone else, and I wish I could be too,’ she said. Despite the breakup, she added, ‘I’ll always appreciate him—he gave me the two best things that have ever happened to me.’
Okay, so Bobbi’s been really open about how uncomfortable this whole situation has been for her, and honestly, she’s feeling a little helpless about getting it to just end. But she did share what she was hoping to achieve with the video she made – she had a clear goal in mind, which is great, even when things feel chaotic.
She explained she wasn’t looking for pity, but hoped those who disliked her might watch this and think twice about their feelings. She admitted, though, that it might be too much to ask.
