Bobby Berk is famous for his home renovations, but he’s also known for his witty and sometimes critical remarks.
When Karamo Brown, a star from Queer Eye, unexpectedly skipped the press events for season 10 with his co-stars Tan France, Jonathan van Ness, Jeremiah Brent, and Antoni Porowski, he hinted at the issues happening within the show’s cast.
Bobby asked his followers how their week was going in a TikTok post on January 21st, sharing a photo of himself relaxing on a fence. He also promoted his new show, Junk or Jackpot, which is available on HGTV, HBO Max, and Discovery+.
The interior designer playfully chose Chappell Roan’s song “My Kink is Karma” to accompany the post. It’s a catchy pop song about enjoying seeing an ex-partner struggle.
As a huge fan, I was really surprised to hear that Karamo cancelled his appearance on CBS Mornings at the last minute! The rest of the cast were all set to be interviewed with him, but just an hour before the show, he sent a statement for Gayle King to read instead. It was definitely unexpected and a bit disappointing for those of us who were looking forward to seeing the whole group together.
Okay, so the journalist just read this thing he said before we started, and honestly, it totally gets me. He basically said he’s been trying to drill into everyone for ten years that protecting your mind and your peace is the most important thing. Like, seriously, shield yourself from anyone or anything that tries to mess with that. And that’s why he couldn’t be here today, which… I get it. I totally get it. It’s just… so him, you know? Always prioritizing mental wellbeing. It’s why I’m such a huge fan!
She shared that Karamo is concerned about being bullied, according to a message from his assistant.

Later that morning, Karamo canceled another live interview, this time on Today With Jenna & Sheinelle. Sheinelle Jones explained that Karamo’s assistant said his therapist had recommended he prioritize his well-being and not participate.
His co-stars on the Fab Five said they were initially surprised he wasn’t there, but they ultimately offered their support.
I was really touched by what Antoni said on the latest episode. He explained that everyone was so supportive of the cast member needing to prioritize his own well-being, and that they all stood behind him taking the time he needed. It was just really lovely to hear how much they care for each other.
This isn’t the first time the ‘Fab Five’ have faced drama. Back in 2024, fans noticed Bobby had unfollowed Tan on Instagram when he announced he was leaving the show, leading to speculation they were feuding. Bobby clarified they had a disagreement, but it wasn’t related to his departure. Jeremiah eventually took over as the design expert for the show’s last two seasons.

In a 2024 interview with Vanity Fair, Bobby explained that a private matter existed between himself and Tan, stating, ‘It was something personal that had been brewing, and it had nothing to do with the show.’ He clarified that it wasn’t a romantic issue.
The stars of Queer Eye have experienced their own challenges, but they’re not alone. Many celebrities deal with public disagreements and conflicts. Here’s a look at some famous celebrity feuds.

In January 2024, Bobby addressed speculation about a disagreement with Tan, following his announcement in November 2023 that he was leaving Queer Eye after eight seasons. (Bobby is shown second from left in the picture.)
Look, I want to set the record straight. Tan and I are doing okay, really. We went through a bit of a personal rough patch, something that was building for a while, but it’s completely separate from the show. And just to be clear, it wasn’t anything romantic – it was a private matter between the two of us.
I was really surprised to see those claims circulating in March 2024 about Tan allegedly trying to get Jeremiah Brent on Queer Eye instead of Bobby. It was frustrating to see that narrative pop up, and I was glad Tan finally addressed it.
Netflix and the production team held extensive auditions. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, but they ultimately landed it because they were the most qualified. I also want to clarify that I didn’t help them get the part by having anyone else removed from consideration, as he explained in an Instagram post.

During a September 2023 game of “Stir the Pot” with her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, on TopMob News, Sharon Osbourne revealed that she considered Danny Masterson, known from “That ’70s Show,” to be the rudest celebrity she’d ever encountered. She described him as a “rude little boy” and a “dastardly little thing.”
He did not respond to her remarks publicly.
Five years ago, Sharon shared with Larry King that Ashton seemed annoyed when he was a guest on The Talk in 2014, after she mispronounced his name.
She remembered him asking, ‘Who are you and what have you accomplished in this field?’ Her response was blunt: ‘Listen, don’t mess with me, because I’ll completely destroy you.’ She essentially told him, ‘You have no idea who you’re talking to.’

In August 2022, Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris clashed with Brittany Aldean, wife of country singer Jason Aldean, after Brittany posted a video on Instagram. In the video, posted on August 23rd, Brittany thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition during a phase where she preferred traditionally masculine interests, stating she loved her current feminine lifestyle.

In a 2022 TikTok trend, JoJo Siwa called Candace Cameron Bure the “rudest” celebrity she’d met, explaining that Bure once declined to pose for a photo with her at a red carpet event. Soon after, Cameron Bure apologized publicly, saying she regretted hurting Siwa’s feelings as a child and was truly sorry for not taking the picture.
Candace and the other person resolved their differences. However, when asked months later if her network, Great American Family, would ever feature same-sex couples as the main characters in its holiday films, she stated it wouldn’t, explaining that the network would continue to focus on traditional marriage.
JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, responded to the actress’ comment on Instagram, calling it “rude and hurtful” to many people.

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art of her band, Hole, for a promotional photo without proper credit. Olivia responded with a message of support, saying, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, “Olivia – you’re welcome. My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! DM me for details! I look forward to reading your note [winking face emoji].”

While on Watch What Happens Live, the Happy Days actor explained the reason he and the Forrest Gump star didn’t get along while filming the 1989 movie Turner & Hooch.
I directed the movie for thirteen days, and then Jeff Katzenberg, the producer, told me to go home – that I had everything I needed, he said.
I remember hearing Winkler talk about working with Hanks’ dog, and it was so heartwarming! He really connected with the animal, saying they got along wonderfully and that he absolutely loved him. It was clear they had a special bond on set.
He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”
Anyone who watched The Hills probably remembers that famous line from Lauren during the third season’s first episode. The drama between them started when Heidi began dating her future husband, Spencer Pratt. It really exploded when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor about her and Jason Wahler making a sex tape.

Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson had another public disagreement after the release date for Fast & Furious 9 was delayed until April 2020. On the same day, a spin-off movie featuring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham was announced for 2019. Shortly after, Tyrese said he would leave Fast 9 if Dwayne Johnson remained involved.
Tyrese recently discussed the conflict with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, telling Van Lathan on The Red Pill podcast that he still hasn’t spoken to Johnson directly, but plans to. He mentioned he did speak with one of Johnson’s producing partners, but not with Johnson himself.
Tyrese admitted he shouldn’t have publicly shared frustrations on behalf of others involved with the franchise, saying it was unprofessional and a mistake on his part. He explained he was the only one who spoke out, and he takes responsibility for that.

No more bad blood here.
Taylor Swift and Katy Perry had a long-running public disagreement, rumored to be the inspiration behind Swift’s song “Bad Blood.” The conflict, which began with issues over a shared backup dancer and competition during their concert tours, was resolved when Perry sent Swift an olive branch as a gesture of peace before Swift’s Reputation Tour began.
Taylor shared in an Instagram video that she found a real olive branch in her dressing room, saying it meant a lot to her.
Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

For years, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, stars of Sex and the City, dismissed rumors of a disagreement. However, those rumors resurfaced when Kim chose not to participate in a third movie and made some pointed comments about her co-star.
During a September 2017 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica Parker how she felt about Kim Cattrall telling Piers Morgan they had only ever been coworkers, not friends.
Honestly, it really stung to hear that. We’d talked about it recently, and it just didn’t align with how I remembered things. It was upsetting to feel like our past experiences were being viewed so differently. It left me feeling pretty heartbroken, to be frank.
It’s definitely sad, but I believe what truly connects us is the unique experience we shared. It started as a professional collaboration, but over the years, it became something deeply personal. I’m hoping that the strength of those years, and the special connection we all had, will outweigh any recent disagreements. It was a privilege to be a part of something so meaningful for so long.
And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

Elton John and Madonna have been publicly disagreeing since 2004. The conflict began when Elton, while accepting an award at the Q Awards that year, criticized Madonna’s live performances. He famously said, “Madonna, best live act? That’s ridiculous!” and questioned her use of lip-syncing, suggesting that performers who don’t sing live shouldn’t be allowed to charge high ticket prices.

The actress, formerly known for her role on Grey’s Anatomy, caused a disagreement with the show’s creator back in 2008 when she asked to be removed from Emmy Award consideration. She explained that she didn’t believe the storylines she was given were strong enough to deserve a nomination.
I’ll never forget when Shonda talked about Katherine’s choice on Oprah’s show back in 2012. She admitted it hurt, but honestly, she wasn’t that surprised. She said something that really stuck with me – that you should always believe what people show you about themselves. It’s become a kind of guiding principle for me, and it’s honestly helped me a lot over the years.

The fight between Nicki and Cardi at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party during New York Fashion Week became a major news story. A month later, Cardi publicly explained what started the argument with Nicki.
Cardi B recently told W magazine that another person has been repeatedly criticizing her. They had talked twice before and seemed to resolve things, but the criticism continued.
The conflict truly escalated when Cardi B noticed Nicki Minaj had seemingly liked, then unliked, a tweet criticizing Cardi’s skills as a mother – something Nicki claims she didn’t do.
Cardi B explained she turned down a potentially hugely profitable Bruno Mars tour because she wanted to be with her daughter. She strongly defended her decision, saying she’s a dedicated mother and doesn’t regret prioritizing her family. She also pointed out that opportunities to meet artists unexpectedly are rare, so she wasn’t going to miss a chance just because of where she was.

The conflict between Kanye West and Taylor Swift began in 2009 when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. They later reconciled and became friends, but their relationship fell apart in 2016 after Kanye released his song “Famous,” which mentioned Taylor by name.
Just before the Grammys in February 2025, Kanye West began following only Taylor Swift on Instagram. He didn’t offer any explanation for this action, and Swift hasn’t publicly acknowledged it.

“I don’t know her.”
The supposed rivalry between Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez has been talked about for over 15 years. It began during an interview when Mariah was asked about other singers, and when asked about Jennifer, she simply stated, “I don’t know her.”
