About
Aboard a long-distance space cargo vessel speeding towards a star, the game Ultrasonic finds you assuming the role of Dr. Dana Voss, the medical officer. Your mission involves identifying and carrying out necessary surgeries to combat a gruesome alien infection that’s rapidly spreading throughout the ship.
In the vastness of space, as the virus spreads and threatens to cripple my ship’s vital systems, I find myself scrambling for solutions. With a medical kit in hand and a portable ultrasound device by my side, I’m doing everything I can to scan, detect, and diagnose the problem before it leads to a catastrophic crash.
The situation is dire, calling for innovation and improvisation. I need to locate new medical tools, upgrade existing ones, and even concoct unusual injections to combat the rapidly expanding growths and unexpected mutations that keep emerging. It’s a race against time, and every second counts as I strive to save myself and my ship from an untimely end.
Embarking on this ominous cosmic voyage, I find myself confronted with challenging dilemmas and repugnant revelations that significantly influence the course and final destiny of the protagonist, Dana.
Two new parents, Walter Woods (primary programmer) and Jason Scalfano (key artist), are creating a project called ‘ULTRASOUND’. This work is deeply influenced by their personal journeys, filled with both sadness and joy, as they navigated the path to parenthood. As Walter Woods stated, ‘Many of us have experienced the anticipation and apprehension associated with an ultrasound machine. The enigma. The uncertainty.
