Following feedback from players, Gearbox is bringing back a popular feature to *Borderlands 4*. The latest game in the quirky, post-apocalyptic looter-shooter series has launched on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X, and while critics generally like it, fans are more divided – it currently has a “Mixed” rating on Steam. Many players have been sharing their thoughts, including concerns about missing features from earlier *Borderlands* games. Fortunately, Gearbox is paying attention and is already making adjustments.
I was so excited to see that Gearbox is actually listening to us fans! They posted on X that they’re looking into adding FOV sliders to the console versions of *Borderlands*. It’s not a guarantee yet, and they don’t have a timeline for when it might happen – it might not even be in the next update – but it’s still awesome that they’re considering it. Hopefully, we’ll get some good news soon!
“We Have Heard Your Feedback”
Hey Vault Hunters! We’ve been listening to your requests for Field of View (FOV) sliders on consoles. Our team is now looking into adding them to the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions of the game. We’ll keep listening to your feedback and use it to improve your gameplay experience. Thanks for your support!
Many Borderlands players are disappointed that the new game doesn’t allow players to adjust the field of view (FOV), as previous titles like Borderlands 3 included this setting on consoles. Gearbox hasn’t explained why this option is missing in Borderlands 4, and didn’t mention it before the game’s release, which frustrated some players who bought it early on consoles.
Gearbox has a lot of work ahead to make *Borderlands 4* meet fans’ expectations. The game is currently missing some features players want, such as a standard mini-map, and also has performance issues. Fortunately, these problems can and will be fixed. If you haven’t bought *Borderlands 4* yet, it might be best to wait for these updates, which will likely be available alongside a holiday sale.
We’d love to hear your thoughts! Please leave a comment below or join the discussion on the ComicBook Forum. Are you having fun with *Borderlands 4*?
