The spotlight remains on the latest Siren in Borderlands 4, Vex, as Gearbox Entertainment shares details about her cosmetic features and design concepts. Just like in previous installments, players are given the opportunity to personalize the new Vault Hunters’ wardrobes, hairstyles, and numerous other elements.
Among Vex’s hairstyle choices are braids, twin-tails similar to her appearance in the cinematic short, a shorter do’, and futuristic Cyberpunk-inspired face enhancements such as cyberware and floating horns. To complete the Digirunner look, there’s also an option for a stylish biker helmet.
Vex, despite being part of a series of Sirens, is the inaugural Vault Hunter created specifically for Borderlands 4. Her design leans towards a “Dark Siren” aesthetic, characterized by angular features and a predominant dark purple theme. This same color palette can be seen in her Phase Phamiliar and clones, but it may shift based on the element of the weapon she’s carrying.
The fourth installment of “Borderlands” will be available on September 12th, compatible with Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms. The Nintendo Switch 2 version is scheduled to release later this year. Keep an eye out for further updates (including glimpses of the additional Vault Hunters) in the upcoming weeks.
