Following the announcement that Borderlands 4 has gone gold before its release, fresh gameplay details keep emerging. Recently, Game Informer shared additional footage of Carcadia Burn, one of the four zones players will explore while attempting to defeat the Timekeeper. Although we’ve seen this region earlier, this new video offers a more extended tour and provides a clearer picture of its desolate terrain.
In the game, you’ll have an in-depth chat with Zane and Mad Moxxi. During this interaction, you’ll join forces with Zane as he navigates challenging jumps over large chasms. As the story unfolds, you’ll discover more about the Ripper Queen – her past life as General Callis, and how she shed the Timekeeper’s Bolt. The Ripper Hordes, under her control now, show striking similarities to Pandora’s Bandits.
On September 12th, the next installment in the Borderlands series, titled Borderlands 4, will be released for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC at a price of $69.99. However, we’ll have to wait until October 3rd to get our hands on it for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2; unfortunately, Gearbox has not yet disclosed its pricing details.
