Gearbox Software recently released a major balance update for Borderlands 4 in 2026. While the game received a significant update in early December, the past month has mostly consisted of the usual weekly missions and boss rotations. Now, players who were hoping for more substantial changes to BL4 will be happy to know that this new update delivers some key improvements.
I’m so excited! The new Borderlands 4 update is out now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and it’s really shaken things up for a couple of my favorite Vault Hunters. They’ve tweaked Harlowe and Amon’s abilities, and honestly, it’s a great change. Harlowe got a big boost – a lot of her skills were improved. And they’ve made Amon even more powerful, so he can really pack a punch now! I can’t wait to jump back in and try everything out.
In addition to these changes, Gearbox has made Legendary items more common in Borderlands 4. They’ve also refreshed weekly bosses and missions, and moved Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine to a new location.
You can find the full list of changes in this new Borderlands 4 update below.
