As a huge fan of the series, I’m really excited about one of the new things they’re adding in Borderlands 4 – it’s called Firmware. Basically, it’s like collecting set bonuses. The more pieces of a set you have, the stronger the bonus gets, but you can only get the full effect with three pieces from one set. These bonuses are seriously awesome and can really help you fine-tune your character build to be exactly how you want it. You can equip up to five pieces of gear total, so a good strategy is to run a three-piece bonus with another two-piece bonus for the biggest advantage. It’s a cool way to customize things!
