You can get the Furnace Legendary Class Mod for Amon by defeating Idolator Sol, the boss at the end of Fortress Indomita in the Fadefields area (Idolator’s Noose). The map shows the location of Fortress Indomita. To farm this boss, you must first finish the main story mission called “Rush the Gate.”
Okay, so basically, to get the Furnace mod, you just have to keep fighting Idolator Sol. It’s a grind, yeah, but thankfully, you can easily reset the fight! There’s a machine called Moxxi’s Big Encore right near where you enter the arena, and for a little bit of money, it’ll let you fight him again and again until he *finally* drops it. It’s a lifesaver, honestly!
Keep in mind that Idolator Sol doesn’t just drop one Legendary item! He has a chance to drop several other powerful items, including Class Mods like Rafa’s Dancer.
Besides being specifically dropped from one source, this item can also appear randomly from other places. However, there’s no way to know when that might happen. If you really need this item, your best bet is to consistently farm Idolator Sol.
The Class Mod has a special ability: it changes damage from abilities like Fellfrost, Hoarcleave, Fulminating Fist, and Stormcutter into Incendiary Damage. If you’re building an Amon character focused on Incendiary damage, this mod is the most effective choice!
