Following several weeks, it’s now Amon’s turn to take center stage in Gearbox’s latest Borderlands 4 trailer. The spotlight is on the Forgeknight and his unique abilities, which include a substantial amount of tanking, damage output, and melee attacks. Take a look at them below.
Crucible, Onslaught, and Scourge. The Crucible ability produces two Forgeaxes, one inflicting damage with fire (Incendiary) and the other with ice (Cryo). Onslaught grants the Forgefist, which boosts movement speed and shield regeneration rate, functioning similarly to a powerful punch propelled by rockets.
By paraphrasing, we aim to make complex information easier to understand while maintaining its original meaning.
The Forgeshield, called Scourge, is a protective shield that defends against frontal attacks and builds up Vengeance, offering damage resistance once the meter is full. Pressing the skill again releases a surge of Cryo damage, with the intensity growing depending on the level of Vengeance. It’s difficult not to notice some similarities between this and Kratos from God of War and his collection of weapons.
The highly-anticipated release of Borderlands 4 is set for September 12th across platforms like Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. A Switch 2 edition will follow suit on October 3rd.
