The latest DLC for Borderlands 4 is now available! The trailer shows off the new content, which takes place in the mountains of Kairos and features challenging enemies and plenty of new loot to discover.
You can now discover a new type of incredibly rare gear! Pearlescent Gear has a unique ability: it deals damage from two different elements. The game automatically chooses the most effective element based on the enemy’s weaknesses and resistances. While these items take some effort to find, they’re especially valuable when tackling the game’s tougher challenges.
The new missions involve helping Defiant Calder stop a dark force in the mountains. Locals, called the Augers, have been making human sacrifices to it, but Calder wants it destroyed and has teamed up with the Vault Hunters to do so. Expect new enemies and bosses covered in Ordonite, plus a new Vault Card with lots of cosmetic items and great rewards for completing the story missions.
Expect even more content soon, like the new paid expansion, Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned, which releases next month. This expansion introduces a new character you can play: C4SH.
