Bounty Star Gets New Trailer Showcasing Gameplay, Gets October 23 Release Date

Although Dinogod’s developer hasn’t shared much about their upcoming mech game, “Bounty Star: The Melancholy Chronicle of Cemetery Clem“, they made an appearance at the recent Future Games Show during Gamescom 2025 to unveil a new trailer for the game. This latest trailer not only offers glimpses into the gameplay and narrative, but it also confirms that “Bounty Star” will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on October 23. You can watch the trailer below for more details.

In this game, Bounty Star, you’ll get a glimpse of the gameplay experience as you progress through the story. Initially, you’ll pilot a fundamental mech, which you can customize and enhance as the game unfolds. You’ll earn cash and new components not only from winning bounties but also by taking on challenging missions that involve combats with other mechs and even multiple enemies. These bounties often lead to intense battles, adding an exciting layer to the gameplay. The narrative centers around the protagonist Clem as she strives to establish her reputation.

One distinctive aspect of Bounty Star is its strong focus on letting players customize their mechs. Initially, you’ll pilot the Desert Raptor MKII, which boasts an impressive amount of power. However, enhancements are available for both ranged and close-combat weapons. Some components even utilize advanced hydraulic systems, such as siege weapons and explosive firearms. For defense, the mech can be outfitted with rapid-fire thrusters to improve mobility, and protective gear like riot shields to ward off incoming attacks.

The action unfolds within the ominous expanse tinted red – a locale notorious for its rampant lawlessness and ferocious wildlife. Despite the promise of affluence due to thriving trade and farming, this region is constantly menaced by these malefactors and beasts, hindering its peace and prosperity. In the course of the game, Clem must confront these hazards as she carves out a reputation as an exceptional bounty hunter within the Red Expanse.

In order to achieve this goal, the game Bounty Star allows players to establish a base camp as well. Initially, the base starts out as a humble garage with limited tools, but after completing certain missions, Clem can enhance the facility to provide additional tools and increased customization options for her mech. Throughout the game, players will have opportunities to build essential infrastructure such as power and water systems, learn how to cultivate and prepare food, and even craft ammunition instead of purchasing it. This self-reliance not only helps Clem save money but also enables her to focus on improving her mech and base operations more effectively.

Initially unveiled as far back as 2022, “Bounty Star” has experienced multiple postponements in its launch. Originally scheduled for release in 2023, it was later moved to 2024, and eventually set for an October 23, 2025 debut. Take a peek at some gameplay footage of the base-building aspect, showcased in a trailer released in 2023.
