Brad Pitt is wigging out for his latest role.

In the initial film, it was Quentin Tarantino who both wrote and directed the project. However, for the sequel, titled Variety, Tarantino has chosen to pass on directorial responsibilities to David Fincher. As for whether Leonardo DiCaprio will reprise his role as Rick Dalton in this upcoming production, that detail is still uncertain. A release date for the Netflix debut of the film has yet to be set.

Despite keeping details about the project confidential, Brad has earlier expressed his eagerness to return to the film’s world, which he mentioned would happen in June.

In his conversation with Deadline, Quentin described it as an episode he penned, not exactly a sequel, but rather an installment featuring the character from Once Upon a Time. He promised it would be quite enjoyable, even fun.

It’s completely understandable that Brad might want to play Cliff again, considering his early fascination with the character.
