Brandy is putting her health first.
Following a brief departure from the stage during the October 18th concert in Chicago as part of The Boy Is Mine tour, the 46-year-old singer spoke to her fans.
Brandy apologized for having to cut her Chicago concert short on October 19th, explaining in an Instagram post that she became dehydrated and felt faint after weeks of intense rehearsals. She and the crew agreed it was most important to take care of her health.
Even though I wasn’t feeling my best, I still wanted to try and give the performance everything I had. However, the show was technically demanding and required some changes, which made it impossible for me to fully gel with the sound of the production. I’m grateful for everyone’s hard work and dedication.
Oh my gosh, Brady was SO sweet! She gave a shout-out to Monica, her co-headliner, saying how amazingly graceful and professional she was when she had to step in. And then… then Brady revealed she actually *needed* medical attention after the show! I was so worried! She’s just incredible, pushing through everything for us fans.
She explained that she immediately went to a doctor after leaving the arena and has been taking steps to recover. She expressed her gratitude for the support, patience, and faith everyone has shown her, saying it means a great deal to her.
The singer of “Sittin’ Up in My Room” shared a heartfelt message with her fans before the next show on her tour.
I’m so excited to be back on stage tonight in Indianapolis, performing with Monica! I feel stronger and more thankful than ever before.

Videos circulating on social media show Brandy pausing during her performance to say, “Give me one second, y’all. I gotta get my…” before leaving the stage. Monica returned and finished her set, but the two singers didn’t perform their hit song, “The Boy is Mine,” resulting in a somewhat abrupt end to the show.
Brandy and Monica have announced a 24-city tour to celebrate their hit song together, finally confirming they’ve resolved any past disagreements.
Brandy said on *CBS Mornings* in June that people had been asking her to tour since 1998, but it finally felt like the perfect moment. She described it as ‘a dream come true’.
Monica added, “We created the communication and the relationship to do it.”

She reassured her sister, Bella Garcia, saying they would get the issue resolved eventually. She explained to the doctor that as soon as she finished her current commitment, she’d return to address the problem and ensure everything looked its best, because she planned to use them again and they needed to be in good condition.

Lupita Nyong’o, known for her role in *12 Years a Slave*, received a diagnosis of uterine fibroids – non-cancerous growths in or around the uterus – in 2014, the same year she won an Academy Award for her acting.
She didn’t share her diagnosis until 2025, when she revealed on Instagram that she had been privately struggling with the condition for over ten years.
She explained that growing up, many girls are taught to expect period pain and accept it as a normal part of womanhood. This often leaves people dealing with a common issue in silence and feeling isolated.

In July 2025, the actress from *Daisy Jones & The Six* revealed she was hospitalized for a hernia. This happened because she’d been wearing pants that were too tight, which caused a gap to form in her abdominal muscles.
Someone messaged Suki on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, asking why she hadn’t posted recently. The message jokingly revealed a surprising reason for her silence: a hernia she sustained six months ago from wearing very tight pants, which she’d been too afraid to mention.

In April 2025, the former star of *Beverly Hills, 90210* shared that he was recovering from surgery to repair a nearly ruptured appendix.

Adam Devine revealed that injuries from being hit by a cement truck at age 11 continue to cause him problems even now.
I was absolutely shocked hearing Devine talk about everything on Graham Bensinger’s podcast in 2025. He said it’s been a real nightmare for him, dealing with spasms all over his body. What really hit me hard was when he said doctors actually told him he was dying – just within the last year! It was incredibly sobering to hear him share that.
He explained that his pain is intermittent, saying, “My body has a few quirks and isn’t quite working as it should.”

The reality TV star revealed he had to crawl to the hospital because of severe back pain that got worse during a road trip with a friend.
He described a strange tingling sensation that still lingered in his knees and toes as of a March 2025 podcast episode of *Trading Secrets*. He explained that just a few weeks or a month prior, he’d been able to squat 295 pounds, but now he couldn’t even do a squat, or even stand on one leg without falling. He compared the feeling to having had a stroke.
But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

In February 2025, the former *Even Stevens* star revealed she was shot in the face during a birthday outing with her husband, Brendan Rooney. They were on a trip to go clay pigeon shooting when the incident occurred.
I was shot in the face by someone at another party who fired a gun carelessly in the wrong direction,” she explained in an Instagram post. “Brendan Rooney quickly checked me over and drove me to the hospital. I was hit five times, and one bullet narrowly missed my right eye, coming within less than an inch of hitting me directly.
The *Kim Possible* actor explained that a small piece of something got stuck behind their eye, and doctors believe it’s too dangerous to try and remove it with surgery right now. They’re being monitored by doctors, but currently their vision is normal.
As someone who’s spent years observing what truly matters, I’ve learned life is incredibly precious. Recently, an actress shared something that really resonated with me. She spoke about being profoundly grateful to be alive, and how much she cherishes her family and friends. She described having a life-changing experience where she realized how quickly everything can shift. Her advice? Hold your loved ones close and tell them how you feel, because you never know what tomorrow will bring. It’s a beautiful reminder to appreciate every moment and the people we share it with.

Amy Schumer is grateful for the internet, despite its often negative side, because it helped her discover a health issue. After noticing she looked “puffier,” Schumer was surprised when doctors began commenting on interviews, suggesting she might have Cushing syndrome. They pointed out changes in her face and suspected high cortisol levels or steroid injections. This prompted Schumer to realize she had been receiving steroid injections after a breast reduction and C-section. She later learned she had a form of Cushing syndrome that would resolve on its own, which she called “the greatest news imaginable.” Schumer shared this update in a February 2024 newsletter and expressed relief that she was healthy.

In December 2024, an AHL player suffered a skate cut during a game and needed 25 stitches to close the wound. In March 2022, Hailey Bieber experienced a frightening health scare while having breakfast with her husband, Justin Bieber. She suddenly developed stroke-like symptoms, struggling to speak and noticing her face drooping. Although these symptoms eventually passed, she went to the hospital for testing. Doctors discovered she had a small blood clot in her brain, which they identified as a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack). Further investigation at UCLA revealed Hailey had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). This hole allowed the blood clot to travel to her brain, causing the TIA. Hailey successfully underwent a procedure to close the PFO and is now recovering well.

It was a really tough year for both Justin and Hailey. Not long after Hailey’s health scare, Justin revealed he was battling Ramsay Hunt syndrome. He shared a video explaining how it had paralyzed part of his face – he couldn’t blink, smile, or even move his nostril on one side. He even said it was becoming difficult to eat. As a huge fan, it was so scary to see! Thankfully, Hailey gave us an update on *Good Morning America* and said he was doing much better and recovering. It was a random and frightening thing to happen, but she assured everyone he would be totally okay, and I was so relieved to hear that. It’s wonderful to see him back and doing well now.

In his 2024 Netflix special, *What Had Happened Was…*, he explained that he was suffering from a severe headache when he suddenly lost consciousness. He doesn’t remember the next 20 days.
Initially, a doctor gave him a cortisone shot and sent him home, but his sister, Deidra Dixon, was worried and took him to the hospital. There, doctors discovered he had a brain bleed that caused a stroke.
After surgery, Jamie woke up in a wheelchair on May 4th, unable to walk. He then went to Chicago for extensive rehabilitation and therapy. He expressed deep gratitude for the prayers he received, saying, “I needed every prayer.”

The reality TV star said she briefly stopped breathing while running a mile during the first challenge on the NBC show.
She shared on the show *Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser* that her memory of the event was fragmented. She recalled hearing a helicopter, feeling as though she was floating, and then seeing her grandfather. After that, everything went dark, but she then experienced a bright light. She said this sequence of events led her to realize she had died that day.
It was terrifying. She explained that her body was actually failing – her organs were shutting down. She didn’t even know what was happening, and later found out she had rhabdomyolysis. As she described it, it’s basically your body’s way of completely giving up.

Emilia Clarke, known for her role in *Game of Thrones*, revealed a harrowing health battle in a 2019 essay for *The New Yorker*. While filming the show, she experienced a severe headache at the gym and quickly realized something was seriously wrong. She described collapsing and being violently ill, recognizing that she was experiencing brain damage.
A hospital scan revealed she had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a life-threatening stroke caused by a ruptured aneurysm. She immediately underwent surgery to repair it, but the pain was excruciating. During her recovery, she experienced aphasia, leaving her unable to speak coherently.
Though the aphasia eventually passed and she was discharged after a month, a 2013 scan revealed the aneurysm had doubled in size, requiring a second surgery. This procedure failed, causing a major bleed and putting her life at risk. Doctors had to perform a more invasive surgery, accessing her brain directly through her skull.
Fortunately, Emilia is now fully recovered and says she is “at a hundred per cent.”

Cori is now recovering well, focusing on regaining some motor skills. “I’m doing great,” she said, adding that she’s otherwise feeling fine.

In a September 2024 podcast interview, she explained that she experienced hearing loss, extreme fatigue, and digestive problems, and received conflicting diagnoses from doctors. Determined to find answers, Woodley combined traditional medical treatment with holistic approaches like herbalism. This search for well-being lasted for ten years and led to deeper issues, including fear of food and struggles with body image and identity.
