Braxton Berrios remains Alix Earle‘s cheerleader from afar.
Even though he couldn’t be at the Dancing With the Stars finale to cheer on his girlfriend, the NFL player sent her a video message of support before the results were revealed on November 25th.
Braxton, getting ready for the Houston Texans’ game against the Indianapolis Colts on November 30th, recorded a message from his kitchen.
He told her he’d noticed how much effort she’d put into this from the very beginning, and it was clear in the results. He wished her good luck and told her to enjoy herself, sweetheart.
I was so thrilled to see Braxton supporting Alix online! After her incredible performance with Val Chmerkovskiy, he posted on his Instagram Story, and it was just a huge “DID YOU SEE THAT!!!” – he was clearly as amazed as I was!
In the end, Robert Irwin and Witney Carson finished second, winning the Mirrorball Trophy.
Robert fondly remembered what his sister Bindi Irwin said after winning an award in 2015: “Thank you for changing my life.”
Witney shared how thankful she is for Robert, saying she feels like having him as a friend is a win in itself.
Alix and Val also formed a close connection over the last two months, a period when Alix worked on becoming more self-reliant and building her confidence.

Alix had always loved watching Dancing with the Stars and dreamed of being on the show, but she wasn’t sure she’d ever actually take the leap and join the cast.
Alix explained that she’d put her work on hold for several months and move to Los Angeles. It would mean being away from her friends and boyfriend and completely changing her routine, but she felt it was important to pursue this opportunity for herself.
