Brian Stelter’s son is looking to share his on-air expertise.
On July 20, during a virtual segment with Jessica Dean, the CNN correspondent discussed President Donald Trump’s lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal concerning an article about his connection with Jeffrey Epstein. Unexpectedly joining the conversation was the correspondent’s 5-year-old son, Story.
In the middle of his live broadcast, the media professional managed to keep his cool when his son unexpectedly appeared on screen, only showing a few discreet signs of surprise due to the unanticipated visitor.
In the interview, Dean subtly acknowledged Stelter’s son by giving him a discreet nod as she concluded the discussion.
During the broadcast, Dean acknowledged Brian Stelter and expressed gratitude, adding, “It seems like there was another helpful presence with you as well, so let’s also extend our appreciation to that individual.
In a relaxed and understandable manner: Stelter, who is also father to Sunny, aged 8, together with his wife Jamie Stelter, accepted the situation calmly, further mentioning, “I apologize for my 5-year-old; it’s bedtime at our house, the Stelters’.
In a while, the 39-year-old acknowledged that it proved more challenging than expected to carry on with the interview while his son was present.

Absolutely, Stelter isn’t alone in having his kids interrupt a news appearance; there have been similar incidents before. As his wife, Kim Jung-A, tried to manage the situation behind the scenes, the incident became a viral sensation online.
Kelly later shared in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, “It was incredibly adorable.” She continued, “My wife handled an unexpected situation brilliantly. It was hilarious. I had a hard time suppressing my laughter while watching it back. After all, they’re just little kids and that’s life.
