Get ready for more Bridgerton! Netflix has announced that the fourth season, focusing on Benedict Bridgerton’s romance, will premiere in two parts.
The fourth season of the popular historical drama, created by Shonda Rhimes, will center around Benedict (Luke Thompson). It’s coming to Netflix in two parts: the first on January 29th and the second on February 26th. Each part will have four episodes.
With the announcement of the release date, a short preview was also shared. In it, Lady Whistledown (voiced by Julie Andrews) asks: “Will we meet the challenges ahead, or will we become even more lost in the hidden truths of society? Only time—and I—will reveal the answer.”
Watch the teaser below:
Fans anticipated that season 3 of Bridgerton would focus on Benedict’s romance, as it’s the central story in the third book. However, the show surprised everyone by switching gears and instead featuring Colin’s (Luke Newton) love story, which originally appeared in the fourth book, ‘Romancing Mr Bridgerton’.
Season 4 will focus on Benedict, and the story hints that even though his brothers are happily married, he’s reluctant to find love himself—until he meets a fascinating woman at a masquerade ball hosted by their mother.
The woman featured is Sophie, played by Yerin Ha, and the new trailer shows Benedict becoming interested in her.

Season 4 of the show will bring back many familiar faces alongside Thompson and Ha, including Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Featherington, Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton, Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton, Victor Alli as Lord John Stirling, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, Lorraine Ashbourne as Mrs. Varley, Masali Baduza as Michaela Stirling, Hannah Dodd as Francesca Stirling, Daniel Francis as Lord Marcus Anderson, and Ruth Gemmell as Violet Bridgerton.
I’m so excited to hear that most of our favorite Bridgerton family and supporting characters are coming back for the next season! Florence Hunt as Hyacinth, Martins Imhangbe as Will Mondrich, and Claudia Jessie as Eloise will all be returning, and of course, we’ll get to see Golda Rosheuvel as the fabulous Queen Charlotte again. Plus, Will Tilston as Gregory, Polly Walker as Portia Featherington, Emma Naomi as Alice, and Hugh Sachs as Brimsley will be back too – it’s going to be amazing!
I’m completely captivated by Bridgerton! I’ve already binged all three seasons on Netflix, and it’s just stunning. If you’re like me and love the story even more, you can find the original Bridgerton book series on Amazon – I’ve added them to my cart already!
