After a long break, Arc System Works is continuing the BlazBlue series with Entropy Effect X, though it’s not a traditional fighting game release.
This game is an action-packed “roguelite,” letting you play as 14 familiar characters from past BlazBlue titles.
The game promises a deep level of character customization, allowing you to create exactly the hero you envision through a system of inherited skills. Plus, it features fast-paced, combo-driven combat.
While not the complete reboot some fans wanted, the first trailer for Entropy Effect X looks promising. It’s scheduled to release on PlayStation 5 on February 12th, 2026.
