Brittany Mahomes is enchanted by Taylor Swift‘s new album. 

Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, recently expressed her appreciation for the singer after the release of her new album, *The Life of a Showgirl*.

Brittany shared on Instagram on October 6th that Taylor Swift continues to impress. She posted a photo of Taylor’s album merchandise she received, with the title track playing, and wrote, “Truly one of the best, and she keeps getting better!”

Even though there’s been speculation that Brittany and Taylor’s new song, “Cancelled!”, is about their relationship, they’ve actually become close friends. This happened after Taylor started dating Travis Kelce, a player on the same NFL team as Patrick, back in 2023. Travis, who is now engaged to Taylor, has also publicly expressed his support for her current music.

Travis told his brother Jason Kelce on their podcast, *New Heights*, on August 27th that he’s been repeatedly listening to an album by an artist who’s shifting towards a more pop sound. He explained that despite the change in style, the artist’s music remains beautifully melodic and lyrically rich.

He continued, “It’s just so much fun to listen to, man.”

Travis and Brittany aren’t the only people connected to the Chiefs who have praised Taylor Swift. Even head coach Andy Reid has commented on how Taylor has been a positive influence on the team.

Taylor Swift gave a thumbs-up to a Kansas City fan while watching the Chiefs play the Baltimore Ravens with Travis Kelce’s father, Ed.

At one point, the Grammy winner kept her eyes glued to the field during a nail-biting moment. 

Taylor was beaming with joy, clapping and cheering for the Chiefs alongside her loved ones.
