Serafini Productions is releasing a new tower-climbing survival horror game called BrokenLore: ASCEND on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam in the summer of 2026.
Here is an overview of the game, via Serafini Productions:
BrokenLore: ASCEND is a scary, first-person game that explores themes of obsession, the desire for fame, and overwhelming fear. Players follow Ren and Yui, two famous climbers, as they risk everything to secretly climb Japan’s tallest and most enigmatic skyscraper, the Elysium Tower, at night.
What starts as an ambitious stunt for their SKYLIMIT channel quickly turns terrifying. They’re haunted by a supernatural creature called the Rokurokubi, which embodies their greatest fear: being lost and ignored.
As Ren and Yui ascend, the world around them becomes increasingly distorted. They can’t go back down—failure means losing it all—but success could come at the price of their minds or their lives.
