Brooke Hogan Speaks Out on Not Being Included in Dad Hulk Hogan’s Will

Brooke Hogan isn’t concerned about finances.

Upon learning that Nick Hogan, the son of Hulk Hogan and his ex-wife Linda, was the only heir designated in Hulk’s will instead of his own daughter, she expressed her feelings about being excluded from the $5 million estate inheritance.

In the interview with TMZ on September 11, Brooke stated that she wasn’t taken aback by her father’s decision because it was exactly what she had requested. She remains unapologetic about this choice and expressed no regrets. Her father is well aware of her work ethic and knows that she has been self-supporting for an extended period without his financial assistance.

The 37-year-old’s intricate bond with Terry Gene Bollea, commonly known as Hulk, and her mother Linda didn’t stem from financial issues, leading to a prolonged period of alienation.

Following the former WWE star’s heart attack-related death at the age of 71 in July, Brooke, who is married to Steven Oleksy and has 7-month-old twins Oliver and Molly with him, offered some insights into their relationship dynamics.

Five days following Hulk’s death, she clarified that there had been no major argument between her and her father. Instead, it was a series of confidential phone conversations where he shared concerns, both personal and professional, that were solely between them and remain private to this day.

She went on to say, “I volunteered to assist him in any role he required.” She shared that she had given him her backing. She pleaded with him to relax, to prioritize his own well-being. He had no need to prove himself to the world or anyone else.

The former star of Hogan Knows Best also disclosed that she and her partner, Steven (age 39), moved from Tennessee to Florida as Hulk was growing older.

She shared, “I wished to be present as often as possible,” indicating their shared history of nearly 25 surgeries. However, unexpectedly, he expressed no desire for her presence during surgeries… a dense fog seemed to envelop the situation. It felt like there was an invisible barrier preventing me from reaching him.

After the change, Brooke mentioned that she and her father experienced “respectfully contrasting views that caused a significant emotional strain.” This, combined with her high-risk pregnancy, prompted her to “take a break” from their relationship.

She continued by saying, “Deep within me, I’m certain I gave everything I had.” She emphasized that he knew she would go to any lengths for him, even braving a burning building. Over the course of their lives together, she demonstrated this deeply and consistently. He is aware of the depth, intensity, and sincerity of her love for him. Now, she finds comfort in knowing this.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I can attest that while Nick and Brooke Hogan might have had their personal ups and downs with their father, the legendary Hulk Hogan, it’s undeniable that he has been an unparalleled figure in the world of professional wrestling. By March 2025, Brooke had welcomed twins Oliver and Molly with her hockey player husband Steven Oleksy. In a video shared on her Instagram Stories, Linda expressed that she no longer communicates with the family. “She’s had twins, got married, didn’t inform us… She had a major argument with Terry. I’m not sure how it affected me, but she also cut me out.

Nick managed to avoid getting involved in the argument between him and his parents that his sister was having, as he mentioned at the 2010 Comedy Central Roast. Later on in March 2025, Linda posted on her Instagram stories that Nick continues to be a good-natured person despite this situation.
