Despite their estrangement, Brooke Hogan had love in her heart for dad Hulk Hogan.

Although Brooke hasn’t made any public statements about the passing of the WWE star on July 24, her husband Steven Oleksy and friend Ashley Kora posted touching tributes in her name instead.

Ashley posted on her Instagram Story about July 24th, “My dear friend Brooke lost her father today.” She shared a black-and-white photo of them. “He passed away knowing that Brooke loved him deeply, was fiercely loyal and only wanted him to be at peace, happy, and surrounded by those who truly valued him for who he really was.

The text went on to say that he made different choices for himself, but let’s not forget that he was a loving father to a girl full of aspirations and compassion. Sadly, the world has lost an icon; we have lost Mr. Bollea, the father of Brooke.

In response to your kind words, Steven expressed his appreciation by saying, “I’m thankful for your affection and encouragement towards my lovely spouse. We feel truly blessed to have you as part of our lives, not only during these difficult times, but forever.

Hulk, who was married to Linda Hogan and had children named Brooke (age 37) and Nick (age 34), passed away at the age of 71. The authorities in Florida were called to his home in Clearwater due to a ‘cardiac arrest’ incident. The specific cause of his death is still unknown.

Prior to his demise, Brooke – who had twins Oliver and Molly with Steven in January – had openly discussed her strained relationship with Terry Gene Bollea, otherwise known as Hulk, and Linda, several months ago.

In response to Linda’s assertion that Hulk was responsible for their daughter cutting off contact, Brooke refuted this idea in a March 27 Instagram post, stating clearly, “The lack of contact with my mother is unrelated to my father, and the lack of contact with my father is unrelated to my mother.

Even though their family had its difficulties, Linda – who had been married to Hulk for 26 years – posted an old photo of themselves with the WWE icon, just four days before his passing, captioning it, “Reminiscing about the old times!

Nick and Brooke Hogan might have had their ups and downs with their father, Hulk Hogan, in public, especially back in 1989 in New York City. However, it’s undeniable that he was a legendary figure within the world of wrestling.

In a snapshot shared on Instagram in June 2023, Hulk celebrated a beach day with his third wife, Sky. Expressing his affection for her, the Florida athlete captioned the image, “Beach day with my Sky Baby,” and added that it always feels like she’s been there all along.
