Bryan Cranston Reacts to Daughter Taylor Dearden, The Pitt’s Emmy Win

It looks like Bryan Cranston might be taking acting advice from his daughter, Taylor Dearden, from now on.

Following the Emmy win for Outstanding Drama Series on September 14, 2025, for the show *The Pitt* – in which the 32-year-old actress plays Dr. Melissa “Mel” King – her father expressed immense pride.

When asked for advice, the *Breaking Bad* actor firmly responded, “No! None!” as shown in a TikTok video. They added, “She’s doing great.”

Bryan also received an Emmy in 2025 for his appearance on The Studio. This was his fifth acting Emmy, and the show itself won a total of 13 Emmys.

However, it was his 69-year-old daughter’s first Emmy win that really got the *Malcolm in the Middle* actor excited and energized.

I was so excited when *The Pitt* won! I was with the cast and crew of *The Studio* and had to rush back to celebrate. I’m still a little sweaty from all the excitement.

It looks like Bryan Cranston might be taking acting advice from his daughter, Taylor Dearden, from now on.

Following the Emmy win for Outstanding Drama Series on September 14, 2025, for the show *The Pitt*-where the 32-year-old actress plays Dr. Melissa “Mel” King-her father was overjoyed.

When asked for advice, the former *Breaking Bad* star emphatically replied, “No! None!” as shown in a TikTok video. They then added, “She’s doing great.”

Bryan also won an Emmy in 2025 for his appearance on The Studio, bringing his total acting Emmy wins to five. The comedy series itself received 13 Emmys.

However, it was her 69-year-old daughter’s first Emmy win that really excited the former star of *Malcolm in the Middle*, making her heart race and filling her with energy.

He excitedly shared in a TikTok video that Pitt’s win meant everything to him. He explained he was with the cast and crew of The Studio when it happened and had to rush back to celebrate, leaving him sweaty with excitement.

Taylor’s journey to potentially winning an Emmy in 2025 started when she was very young. The actress, the only child of Bryan and Robin Dearden, first appeared on screen in 2010 on the third season premiere of *Breaking Bad*. Notably, her mother also appeared in the episode, and Bryan directed it.

Taylor began her acting career with roles in web series like *101 Ways to Get Rejected*, as well as on MTV’s *Sweet/Vicious* and the mockumentary *American Vandal*. These appearances led to her being cast in *The Pitt*.

Bryan explained to the Associated Press in June that his daughter has been acting since childhood. He said it’s a natural fit for her, she genuinely enjoys it, and she’s pursuing it for all the right reasons.

And he loves the accolades Taylor has received for her performances on the medical drama The Pitt.

He shared that nothing feels better than seeing his child receive praise. He said there’s no better feeling, and he and his wife are incredibly proud of her dedication and hard work.

Keep cheering for these stars who also won big at the 2025 Emmys…
