As Bryan Fuller points out, bringing back Pushing Daisies will require significant funding. While the cost of reviving the show – including talent and special effects – might concern streaming services and networks, it has a strong advantage: a dedicated and enthusiastic fanbase. Even though viewership dipped during its second season, the show retained its loyal followers, and it received almost universal critical acclaim. Both seasons of Pushing Daisies earned high scores on Rotten Tomatoes (92% for Season 1 and a perfect 100% for Season 2), and the series was nominated for seventeen Primetime Emmy Awards, winning seven.

With Pushing Daisies still popular among fans and revivals being common in today’s TV landscape, a continuation isn’t out of the question. Creator Bryan Fuller has mentioned the cast is open to returning, and while they’re all working actors (including Lee Pace, currently in The Running Man), none are committed to projects that would prevent them from reprising their roles.
