According to recent reports, Atari’s publisher and developer Fabraz have unveiled the upcoming game titled “Bubsy 4D” which is expected to be playable on multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC (available on Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG). A specific launch date for the game has yet to be disclosed.

For a long time, Bubsy has had foes known as the Woolies, who are fascinated with wool and have taken all the world’s sheep. Not much concern for Bubsy though! However, things might change when the sheep transform into lethal BaaBots after getting hold of advanced technology from the Woolies. These BaaBots will then attempt to seize Bubsy’s cherished item, The Golden Fleece.
Accompanied by an assorted group of friends, Bubsy embarks on a space voyage to vanquish the BaaBots and reclaim the Golden Fleece. Thankfully, he’s picked up some fresh abilities for traversing the intricate, artisan-themed worlds. Now, Bubsy can perform jumps, glides, scale walls using his claws, and attack enemies by bouncing off them. He even has a new trick of transforming into a fast-rolling hairball to dash at top speeds.
The Fabraz team designed a versatile, engaging moveset suitable for both beginners and speedrun experts. When you’ve perfected Bubsy’s awesome new tricks, demonstrate your abilities by posting your top level scores on the online leaderboard, inviting others to compete against you!
