Somehow, Bubsy returned — and word on the street is that his new game is actually pretty good.
Bubsy 4D, a new 3D platformer from developer Fabraz, was revealed last year. It appears to be a fresh start for the character, aiming to improve his previously poor reception.
Although his previous games haven’t been great, this latest one appears to be the strongest installment in the series since its original release on the Sega Genesis.
Don’t just take our word for it – Atari has just released a demo on PlayStation 5 so you can try the game yourself.
It’s about 800 MB in size, and basically gives you access to the beginning of the game.
Start with the tutorial to learn how to control Bubsy, then try the first three levels. As you play, you can collect items to buy upgrades and customize Bubsy’s appearance with new skins.
The complete game launches on May 22nd! Are you planning to try the Bubsy 4D demo on PlayStation 5? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
